Diablo Cody just finished writing a SVH screenplay. Not sure where they are in terms of production/casting/etc.

I was more of a Babysitters Club fan and didn't read SVH but I'm curious to see how they all turned out!

I LOVED Babysitters Club. Even watched the TV show (all 13 episodes) and the movie. Heck, I remember the song from the show! How sad is that?

Another Babysitters Club fan here! I loved the movie and the gone too soon TV show. The song was very memorable. I remember my freshman year roommate actually had a couple of episodes on VHS and she brought them from home one weekend and we watched them.

The only thing I know about SVH is the show and I didn't even watch that but there was a show on after it called Breaker High with MMC Alum Ryan Gosling.

I would love a follow up to the Babysitters Club. When you invest so much into certain characters its great to see what happens to them.

They even did a re-release of SVH, making it more modern with the chapters starting off with email snippets and IM's.....that was in the early 2000's....don;t know what became of that. I think SVH and a rival school had to merge together so there were new characters and some of the old were gone.

You know, I've often wondered about that. I know I loved Sweet Valley, Babysitter's Club, R.L. Stine books when I was a kid...but when I think about the clothing descriptions, 80s and early 90s pop culture references, etc...I always wondered if they revised some of the pop culture aspects in these books in later years to make them more relevant to today's youth.

Oh, and I'm totally up for a Sweet Valley High board game party! I still have mine in the closet! Can you find your boyfriend in time for the big date?

I used to Love the Sweet Valley Twins books...but I liked the middle school series. I read a couple Sweet Valley High books but I didn't like how the books took a dark turn...so this book doesn't really interest me, though it's neat that they are reopening the franchise to try and cash in on the chick lit market.

I have all the Sweet Valley High and Sweet Valley Twin books!! They all sit on my daughters bookshelf just waiting for her to read them!!

I will definitely be getting this one as well!

This is great!!! SVH started my love of book series. I read all of them but can't really remember too much about any of the actual story lines.
