It's a GO!!!!! We are combining it with her friend who turns 16 3 weeks later, same friends, and are going to have it in a church basement...$100 rental, most likely waived if we clean up/no damage etc!We told the girls so they could have input on the guest list. We are even thinking of hiring a band since the budget may allow...(depends on what they charge) but DD is so excited! I KNEW she would love the 50's theme..but with a lot of expenses we have coming up, renting the preffered building we had in mind just wasn't going to happen ($85 per hour)
So...thank you to everyone who offered great ideas/suggestions for different venues we could use, it was all very helpful. School gets out the 7th and the party is the 10th...great way to start off summer break!
