I'm so sorry to hear this.. Hopefully it's one of the forms of lung cancer where they can simply remove a portion of her lung and that's the end of it..

You know what I find ironic though? People are always telling others to quit smoking "so they won't get cancer" but I can't tell you the number of people I know who have been non-smokers for up to 25 years and STILL ended up with lung cancer! Almost creates a "why bother" attitude - you know?

Anyhow, I'll be praying for you, your mom, and your entire family.. Please keep us posted..
