Remember my post about my mom?

I posted a few weeks ago about my mother. She's been sick for quite a while, but has refused to go to the doctor due to her phobia. She started feeling worse yesterday, so she finally relented and my dad took her to the doctor today. They found a tumor on her lung. They don't yet know if it's cancerous or not, they have to do more tests. She's scheduled for a CAT scan on Thursday and then will have to see a specialist after that for a more definitive diagnosis. I'm trying not to panic, but I'm very scared..she quit smoking about 3 years ago, but prior to that she smoked for over 30 years. This feels so unreal....it's going to be such a long week waiting to find out what's going on. She is still quite young - just turned 60.

Kim, I definitely remember the post about your mom... I had such a hard time replying to it because of what happened with mine and her fear of doctors (she had cancer and died shortly after being diagnosed). I do hope and pray that this will be nothing and very treatable. Hang in there {{{hugs}}}
