Remember Lite Brites?!

I loved my Lite Brite when I was a kid. I still have it and my DD7 has discovered it. She loves it as much as I did! The problem is I only had a few of the pictures left. There are tons of the blank papers in it to make your own designs, but she likes making the pictures, too. I've done a quick internet search and didn't really come up with anything. Back in the day, you could by all kinds of refills to go with them. Anyone seen any lately or have an idea where I could look?

I don't have speakers on my work computer, so I can't listen. However, you'll have to forgive me if I get the words wrong. My sister had a Lite Brite and I think I was like 4 at the time.

you can order the refills are hasbrotoyshop.com. My dd got a lite brite cube for christmas and I bought them and the refills here.. Walmart also has them

Hmmm, I didn't know the refills were hard to get. DH got me on in 2002 for Christmas, I had said I always wanted one but my mom would never get me one.
I have started letting DS use mine but we are getting low on pictures. I thought they would always be around, easy to get!

Thanks for the help. I'll have to take a look. I knew you could get them for the new version, but I wasn't sure that they would work on the old one. I'll check it out!

Lite Brites never went away as far as I know...you should be able to find refills at Toys R Us and likely even the toy departments of a Target, Wal-mart or Meijer.

The problem I see with a lot of the refills is that they are for the newer versions. I'm not sure they will fit on the old one. Mine is about 25 years old! I would hate to buy the refills only to find out that they don't fit right. The website someone posted that you can print the pictures might work. It has a free sample to print so I'll try that and see if it fits right. Anyone used the refills on the original version?
