We stayed at OKW in a 2-bedroom 5-26 to 5-31. We were in 6231, a dedicated 2-bedroom. My Mom checked in ahead of us as she was already in Orlando, and the room was ready. There were no problems with having her check-in ahead of us. Everything was clean and no problems at all with the room. Bldg 62 is one of the newst bldgs next to the Hospitality House with an elevator. The room was straight ahead when you got off the elevator. Location was ideal for us. The view was great, water and golf course.
This was our first stay in a 2-bedroom and we really loved it. We had dinner in the room the first night, using the dreaded kitchen ornament and then had sandwiches on several occasions throughout the week as well as breakfast each morning. Loved the money savings on those meals and the ability to freeze the water bottles.
I was so pleased to have gotten all of our requests. I know that they are never guaranteed, but all of ours were granted, and we had several--Bldg 62, dedicated 2-bedroom, non-smoking, top floor, end of bldg close to Hospitality House so teens could walk to pool without us and not get lost. I might also mention that I booked this reservation at the 11-month mark. Not sure if that made the difference or if it was that Mom checked in early in the day for us. I did call on my cellphone as we were heading down I-95 and talked to the Front Desk and without telling me a room No. they did tell me that all requests were taken care of. I am not sure who I could say thank you to for all that, but I would sure like to.
