My name Is Denise and I don't know how to use clip art...

Seriously-- I consider myself quite computer literate, but I have clip art issues. I can import an image into a Word document, but for the life of me I have a hard time manipulating it (resizing, moving, etc.) I'm 2 weeks away from my cruise and I'd like to do some custom work for a magnetic door sign, kids autograph pillowcase, etc.

Can someone clue me in on how to do this?? Remember--- lay language in words of one syllable! Thanks in advance...

Just double click on the clip art. This should bring up another window. Select Size and enter in the size you would like the clip art to be!!

To move the clip art from one place to another "select it" by clicking once on it, hold down the mouse botton and move it to where you want it to be in the doc.

Hope this helps!!

Jackie

I tend to work in Microsoft Office. Is that what you use? If so, MS Photo Editor is part of the office suite, but not the default install. If you use MS Office & it's not on your system, you can add it from the CD. (If you're not sure, right-click on a JPG file & choose "Open With" & see what choices you are given.)

I can crop, re-size, change the contrast/balance etc.....that's all I use to change pix I've taken to avatar size & DIS signature size. It gives much more flexibility than Paint or Windows Picture or Fax Viewer.

If so, they come with software to edit your pictures. I just drag my clipart into the picture program and edit it from there. Hope this helps. I'm no Einstein when it comes to clip art either. :badpc:
