Relive the Magic DVDs??

I just read another thread which has inspired me to post this one. Who has these DVDs and what do you think of them?

I placed an order for the complete set the day after Christmas. I still have not received it, but all of my e-mails have been politely and promptly answered. They even gave me a credit for the difference when the price of the set went down recently, since placing my order (I asked for this, since it hadn't shipped yet).

I am not only annoyed that it's taking so long to get these, but now I've read a comment or two that they're not even that great. I was linked to their site through Lou Mongello's DisneyWorldTrivia e-newsletter. I've had great success with his books and love his site, so I figured he was highlighting a good product.

I hope I'm wrong and that I'll be happy with them (IF they ever arrive...) but would love to hear any of your opinions on this.

I own them!! I even bought Disneyland too! (never been there though). I paid the 'full price' for them last summer. So the fact that they are on sale at such a good price makes me jealous!

I havn't made it all the way through them yet, but so far I'm happy. I mean they are filmed by a person with a decent video camera. They walk through the que's of the line. They walk through the giftshops/restaruants. They try and at least get a 'glimpse' of everything as they walk or ride the ride. The other day I "rode goofy's barnstormer and went through Mickey & Minnies house" before I went to work. hahaha. By no means is this a movie production but I still enjoy what I have seen so far.

I just got a new treadmill and actually plan to watch these dvds on my big screen tv as I walk on my treadmill!!! haha, It will be like walking at disney. hahaha ok maybe not. But I still think it will be fun to watch them as I walk on a treadmill. (I cannot wait for the parades and resorts walk through!)

It did take a couple of weeks to arrive. ...and they come in flimsy paper cd sleves. I went to my local "warehouse store" and purchased a bulk pack of empty DVD cases and placed all the DVD's in there. I also made up 'covers' on my pc and placed them in the DVD case so you can identify them.

So really I think those of us who are hardcore disney fans will love them. (by hardcore I mean we take WDW in anyway we can get it). I feel this is an enjoyable set for when your feeling down or miss Disneyworld. And for the great price your getting them at, I'm a bit jealous. haha. I hoped this helped.

I bought the MK set for Christmas. It took a long time between order and shipping for us, too, but it all worked out fine. My concerned e-mails were also courteously returned.

Quality of them? Let's just say I'm glad I didn't pay any more than I did. The only reason I bought it is that my wife really wanted to see and hear Wishes again, and I didn't think to tape more than about 1 minute of it.

They filmed Wishes with some obstructions such as Christmas decorations, people's heads, Main Street buildings, etc. It's okay but not great by any stretch of the imagination. The 1 minute I recorded with my digital point and shoot still camera (on video mode) from the Hub was MUCH better than what's on the DVD, which was shot from somewhere on Main Street (and hence the obstructions).

You can go Google video and see some of them. I have been there in the past to keep me dreaming about my next trip (When ever that might be ).
