I'm a Christian. I was confirmed into the Methodist church but I'm not really practicing and I rarely go to church. I don't follow everything in the Bible but I do think it is a good place for inspiration and motivation. I do believe Jesus was born to the virgin Mary and that he rose from the dead. I believe God loves and accepts everyone as they are.

I also know that there are many, many other religions in this world and that every one of them should be respected. I have a friend who thinks that Christianity should be the ONLY religion in this country and that makes me upset. Judaism, Islam, Buddhism...they are all just as important and valid as Christianity. They may not be what *I* personally believe and practice but I think that they all share the same principles.

I love God. I read the Bible. I'm a Christian. I do not follow a certain denomination, however I know I am not Catholic (don't believe in the saints) or Mormon (I've attended a few church services with my best friend, who is Mormon and it really didn't appeal to me). I honestly do not think that I will ever choose a denominaton. I think that my faith is between me and Jesus Christ.

Non-denominational churches are becoming very popular in my area. I think a lot of people don't align themself with one teaching so they are just like you are. I think faith is very personal and it is only between yourself and God.

I was baptised as a baby, but at 2 months old (barely), you don't know what you're doing or getting yourself into. You don't even remember it! My family (well, my parents and I) have never set foot in church aside from weddings and funerals. (They grew up going to church, but didn't go as a married couple, or after they had me) My friend brought me to church one Sunday (I was sleeping over, and had no choice). I hated it. (I'm sorry, but it's not my cup of tea).

As for religious artwork, it is quite pretty. I've been in St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC, and it is GORGEOUS.

Will I go to a religious ceremony outside weddings and funerals? No.

I don't believe that anything is real. I don't believe in sunrises or sunsets, I don't believe in emotions or motions or movement. I don't believe in love or hate or ignorance or peace. I don't believe in thought or action. So I guess you could say that I believe in god as much as I believe in anything.

have anything against those who don't believe in him. I can understand why, you dont believe theres a man in the sky. I do not criticize those who don't believe, and I don't try and talk them into it. I have my own beliefs and my
faith that I will stick to, and you have yours.

I think religion is ridiculous... that people devote hours upon hours studying and believing a bunch of stories. But I understand that when things get tough and people need comfort they turn to those stories for hope, which I have nothing against.

I was baptized Catholic, but I absolutely hate it. Way too medieval for me.

But I'm a strong believer in karma, and I think after we die our souls are 'reincarnated', so I guess I related closest with Buddhism.

Not always. My religion constantly gets slammed for what a few radicals do, when in reality the actual religion is the exact opposite of what they're doing.

Most religious artworks are just gorgeous. I visited this huge Catholic Church once, it was the most beautiful place I have ever been in. It almost felt kind of "cleansing" to be in the building.

Was it the one in Los Angeles, CA? I don't remember the name, but the building was amazing. It was glass, if I remember right.

And as far as what I practice, I'd say Christian. I'm not really religious or anything, though.

Oddly enough, my local library has like, thirty study Bibles and absolutely nothing about Satanism. (Except the evils of it, of course).

I'm an athiest. I am not a very spiritual person. The most I believe in is an afterlife, one kind of like the one in The Lovely Bones. Sort of. You can watch people on Earth. But I like to believe that once you're dead, you can find those who have passed before you and get the time you never go to spend with them.
