Religion?

Atheist, it never made sense to me that there is a man in the sky that watches over you.

my religion is a very personal thing. it doesn't have a name. i believe in the christian god, but i do not align myself with christian beliefs. i believe in reincarnation until you achieve true inner peace, at which point you enter an afterlife. i believe that to do good unto others is the ultimate goal. i believe that its not who you are underneath, but also what you do that determines the quality of your soul. to judge would be to go against everything we are created to do (love.) i believe in self indulgence as long as no one is hurt along your path for it. i believe in karma, the domino effect, and the theory of infinite universes. most of all, though, i believe that we're all really going to be okay someday.

Wow. You pretty much summed up what I feel, especially reincarnation.

I suppose I'm agnostic, with a strong belief in fate and karma.

i believe that the ultimate reward for living this life well would be to be born again as a house cat in a house full of love.

Sounds awesome to me!

Yeah, I'm Catholic by I guess baptism.
Not really by choice, but I can't complain *too much*. I disagree with a lot, and I mean, a lot. But I also believe a lot of principles.

I believe in a higher power, for sure, but I don't believe any God is the right or wrong one, really. I believe in the Christian God as my god. As long as you have faith in something, you believe in God, whatever it may be. Reincarnation is the only explanation I have for the vast economic differences, and other issues. I don't know, it just seems "fair" to me.

Roman Catholic.

I'll defend the Church with all my power but I don't really believe much of it.

Make sure you go to a cathedral or basilica if you want to be impressed and, if possible, a Latin mass.

ITA. Back when I went to masses (when I was still kinda Catholic), the ones in Latin and French were my favourites. There's just a whole other dimension to a mass in a foreign language. And my favourite mass ever was my second cousins' ordination mass (they're twins and priests). It was in St. Joseph's Cathedral- the biggest one in NH. It was great. Even if it was four hours long.

I hope you're rich. They're always begging for money. at least the one's up here are.

The Church could pay for the world twice over with just the tapestries it has in Rome. Don't feel the need to pay.

Multiple times during mass?

lol. i think the record that i've seen was three in two hours.
that was a southern baptist church without windows in tennessee july. i think they might've been trying to buy an air conditioner or something.

Is TN part of the bible belt? If so, how many churches do you have in a 5 mile radius? LOL, I just wanna know if the stereotype is true.

OMG. :faint:
My town, well really it's a village, has two. The next town over has a few move, so we have maybe 6? Is your county fairly large or small?
