Relgious services in Disneyworld or around Orlando

Not sure what you're looking for -- "good" as in entertaining, or as in true to that faith, or... what? :confused3

The Catholics have set up a church specifically for visitors to Orlando, not far from WDW:

http://www.maryqueenoftheuniverse.org/

You should not take communion there if you're not a Catholic, but I'm sure you'd be welcome for the service itself whatever your religion. The building is also open for tours, and has an art gallery and garden and whatnot.

I would guess there are churches (or temples, etc.) in other faiths close to WDW, but we have never planned to go to church while there so I've never looked for any.

I am interested in the answer to this as well. My husband is a pastor, and we would like to go to church on Sunday morning, before going to Epcot. I have been looking for a place to attend. I will let you know if I find anything...Please do the same!!!

Celebration has Catholic, Presbyterian and Christian churches and is located about 10 min from WDW

mary queen of the universe shrine is beautiful. I toured it one summer afternoon. there is a mass there weekdays at noon and lasts 25 minutes. It was packed. Make sure you visit the little art gallery - there is some stunning artwork.

First Baptist has a nice service. Another good church you could check out is Harvest Bible church. It's across the street from the baptist church. It has a beautiful Spanish inspired building. You can find more information about it by googling the name. We moved to the area in September and have enjoyed services at both churches in our search for a church home.

Where is the art gallery? Thanks :)

If you are looking for Catholic Masses other than here, you can look on www.masstimes.org They will give you the locations and times all around the world.

Ooh..Look what I found that I hope helps! http://www.wdwinfo.com/tips_for_touring/churchservices.htm

I never looked before so I guess I should've guessed we would have a page right on this site. This is what I get for watching too much Elmo.

We go to Mary, Queen of the Universe every trip, even when we aren't staying for a Sunday. There is a little museum, which has historical artifacts and artwork, and also, there is a changing exhibit. Last spring, it was all about the Via Dolorosa. Even our relatives who weren't Catholic liked it. The museum is in the same building that has the gift store and the hall where they serve donuts and coffee after the Sunday Masses. If you are Catholic, and even if you are not, there are all types of religious goods and books in the gift store. At the gift store, you can get Christmas stuff, like nativities, even if you go in during the summer. Sometimes, there are other special programs. When we were there last summer, there was a special program about the Shroud of Turin. I get a newsletter every few months that tells what is going on for the next several months, called the Magnificat. If you are interested, it might be on their website.
