Relaxation, Disney Style, PTR. ~*TRIP REPORT HAS STARTED! 9/18 Pg. 155*~

Woo Hoo!!! I was wondering when the album would get to you! I had so much fun sitting down, taking a break from life, working on some scrapping and helping out a great friend in return! Can't wait to see the finished pictures of how it all came together! So glad you love it dear. :thumbsup2

Yay it arrived!

I can't wait to see pics too.

A huge thanks to JenJolt and Belle_Princess for the fun idea and for all their work getting the rest of us organized!

What a wonderful gift!! The DIS truly has some of the nicest people. :thumbsup2

I'm happy to hear you also have a new teacher and things are going better - and you are actually LEARNING now, kinda what school is all about!

What a wonderful gift to motivate you! And a new teacher needs some dancing bananas: :banana::banana: It makes such a difference, doesn't it? :goodvibes

LL:

What a lovely gift you received! I am so impressed that so many Disers put their collective talents together to create such a great, inspirational gift for you. That's so lovely. I am glad its already bringing you good luck!

Yay!!! So glad you liked it! I actually cheated... Aisling worked on mine too!
:thumbsup2

Truly, the nicest people EVER.

Yes, it was amazing how good I felt after class last night. It's amazing when you don't feel like your time was wasted!

Huge difference. I wasn't grumpy or even as tired as I normally am after class last night!

It sounds as cool as you described it and I can't wait to see it either! :thumbsup2
Hopefully I will get to take pictures tonight. :thumbsup2

It is very nice, it puts a huge smile on my face when I think about it. :goodvibes

Glad you got a little pixie dust with that new teacher! Attitude makes all the difference in the world, that's for sure. :thumbsup2

LL, just be upfront with your new teacher about the dates you will be missing. Ask about what work can be completed before you leave, etc., and if you should email or correspond with work while away. I know---that might be a drag---but if you show that you are willing to do whatever it takes to stay on top of the work, I am sure the teacher will help you through it in some positive way! :)

Leslie! I'm stoked you had a positive change in teachers; what a difference it will make! Hooray!!!

What a delightful and thoughtful gift you received. I am glad that you got a new teacher.

Your welcome! Just no making fun of my lack of artistic talent. I'm a nerd, it's all about the trivia, not drawing. :rotfl:And yay for a change in teachers. It makes such a big difference. I once took a biology course that was in a big auditorium with hundreds of students AND was taught by three different teachers throughout the term. Needless to say I just squeaked by!

That's great about getting a new teacher! I 'm not too crafty, but I DID put lots of photos in my portion of the calendar. :thumbsup2 I'm so glad you like it! :goodvibes

It really does. I'm actually not dreading class tonight!

I'm still a little nervous about missing three classes. I might make some changes so I only miss two. We shall see.

It really does. I'm so thrilled!! Now if my grade from the last class would just get posted.

I will not make fun at all. I love everything equally. :thumbsup2

Not that I'm excited or anything...

Where Am I?
DisneyJan2010Day1andDay2375.jpg

I don't really have a list for today but I do have some possible trip changes! I am 99.9% sure that we are going to change the trip from 9 Nights to 7 Nights. I'm a little apprehensive of missing a double class on Saturday with my new teacher. What we would do is still leave on September 3rd, and come home on September 10th instead of the 12th.

I'm okay with this decision. 7 nights is still a wonderfully long Disney trip. Plus we would have a bit more money for souvenirs. It does mean having to give up our Le Cellier ADR on the 10th. It's at 2:30PM, and I just don't think we'd have enough time to eat and catch ME. Oh well. Next time, right? ;) I've heard some people have been having luck with walk ups at Le Cellier. Tell me how you did it....I tried that in January and the CM laughed at me!! :guilty:

We have been thinking about getting a hotel on the night before we leave near the airport that offers long term parking and a shuttle. If we did that, I'd probably miss class or leave class early that night. Marc doesn't care which we do. Me, I would kinda like being closer to the airport. I also have heard very good things about the shuttle and the hotel. It would cost us about $50 more to stay the night and park vs. just paying for parking there. I have a reservation so I'm going to think on it some more before I make a final decision.

Still need to get a few things for the trip. Marc needs sneakers, boxers and shorts. Maybe a few tshirts as well. Me, I'm all set on tshirts  but I do need to solve my pant situation. Still no luck on the shorts/capris. This weekend or next I'm hoping to find some time to go out and find a few pairs. I also need a new pair of Teva Mushies in black. I've worn my out wearing them so much.

I'm starting to have trip dreams, mainly about blisters. I'm starting to get panicky again. :upsidedow

50 Days!!

First off, don't panic! You've learned a lot about blister care, and are practically the DISExpert on the subject! :worship:

OK, on to other stuff...

I totally understand that you don't want to miss more class than you are comfortable with. That's being responsible, BUT I do know you'll miss that Le Cel. meal. Drat! But with the new teacher, it may be wiser to not miss those extra classes.

I'd want to be near the airport too; just me and my panicky personality though. I'm pretty pessimistic when it comes to travel.

Leslie, I'm chiming in really late here, but I'm so glad you got the Countdown album! I'm so glad it brought you luck with a new teacher and it was a pick-me-up when you really needed it! I really hope you post pictures soon! I'm anxious to see what everyone did!

Have a great year in school and a wonderful Disney trip!!:banana::banana:

50 days... it is going quick. Anita sad LeCellier was taking walk ups...so good luck, if not there are lots of other yummy adrs you have!

Good luck with the shopping... and again I love my Teva Mushies... I always think of you as I wear them!

Joining in, a little (or a lot!) late!
Never too late!!

I do know a lot about blister prevention. I think my anxiety stems from wearing my Teva Mush flip flops. They do not hurt my feet at all when I'm wearing them, and pretty much anytime I'm not at work I'm wearing them. I just worry because it's new footwear.

I have such anxiety in the morning rush to get to the airport. I think I watched Home Alone one too many times as a child. :rotfl2:

I will try to take pictures this weekend. I just haven't had time after work this week.

I think I found a replacement for Le Cellier. We will live without it. It will just be a 100% must do on my next trip. :thumbsup2
