Relaxation, Disney Style, PTR. ~*TRIP REPORT HAS STARTED! 9/18 Pg. 155*~

I just heart Etsy! I start poking around on there and end up wanting everything. People are so creative!

Hey LL...

Nice shopping purchases!

So, listen to this - I check SWA air flights for the 11th and I see there are 4 flights out of Philly! Then I remember that it is SEPTEMBER 11th. I guess people don't fly that day. It freaks me out, just a little. But if people don't fly that day I guess I won't have to sit in the back of the plane like last trip!

I am still deciding when to leave and when to return. I don't know why I am so indecisive. I shouldn't feel bad because I know I'm not the only one around here that is. :rotfl:

I am always the first done with a quiz/test too! I agree, it makes me a little worried. I hope you did well! :goodvibes

And I can't wait to see these purchases you made! :woohoo:
I think I did fine. I made more purchases last night too....maybe even some more today. I'm in a shopping kind of mood. :rolleyes1

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

My competitive spirit is already flaring up over this imaginary game.

LL, can't wait to see the pictures of all your purchases -- the stuff from Etsy sounds really cute!
I'm addicted to Etsy, it's a dangerously expensive addiction. :rolleyes1

Happy Shopping, Leslie!! I admit, I enjoy a little shopping too- my next purchases are some scented products to pamper myself with on my trip... I can't wait to get them!!
There is something about a Disney trip that brings out the shopper in me.

Your shopping sounds great! And I think you are right, the Converse sneakers will look fine with a skirt. :thumbsup2

I hope you will like the shorts! They are bound to make you more comfortable during your trip. :goodvibes
I hope I do too, I hope they fit. :rotfl2: I think I might go out today to a few stores just to see what I can find.

Hey, channel your inner glass is half full. You get done with your tests first because you rock, sistah!!! :thumbsup2

Love the purchases. I'm a big fan of bermuda shorts, because I have nicer lower legs and am more self-conscious about my thighs, so having them covered up makes me feel better! :lmao:

I can't wait to see the orange Converse, I bet they're sooooo cute. And the Etsy purchases. Too much fun. :goodvibes
I'm really excited for everything to arrive. I'm going to be all Disney-fied on my trip.

64 days! HOORAY! I love al of your purchases, hope you take pics when you actually receive them! i used to be weird about shorts and bermudas too but you will find that they are really quite flattering and comfortable! not too sure about your converses, they sound cute but they dont offer enough support for me!
I will take pics for sure. I have two more purchases to take pictures of that I bought yesterday. I'm hoping they'll offer enough for me but we will see!

You can never have too many Disney t-shirts!

Yay for 64, well actually 63, days!!!
I agree! :thumbsup2

I told Marc that when we actually have a baby, that I'm going to need to not go on Etsy, there are way too many cute things that I already want to buy. :rotfl2:

:rotfl: TOTALLY! You can never have too many disney t-shirts however, my co-workers think differently!
Silly co-workers!

Let me know what you decide. I think we will be at MK on the 11th and Epcot on the 12th before we leave. :thumbsup2

Yipppeee for some fun purchases! I can't wait to see them!

Thank you!! You too. pixiedust: That kinda looks like fireworks. :rotfl2:

:lmao:

Speaking of fireworks I HAVE to tell you about the texts between Chelsea and me. She asked me if we were going to watch fireworks (she is still out of town at her grandfather's), and I said we were probably going to skip them this year since I didn't want to drive all the way into the city. Then, the texts went like this:

Chelsea: GASP!
Me: Well, we will see fireworks at Disney when we are there.

And this was her response. Are you ready for it???

Chelsea: Pft!

I about fell out of my chair laughing! I just knew I would have to tell you that she has adopted your signature phrase of derision. :lmao:

That just made my night!! The whole gasp thing too. I do that sometimes. I don't know what that says about me when your almost 13 year old daughter says the same things I do. :rotfl2: Keeping myself young?

I thought you would get a kick out of that! I couldn't wait to tell you!

We'll just say that Chelsea is very mature for her age! :lmao: I do the whole Gasp and Sigh thing, too -- both in texts and in actual speaking.

Marc teases me all the time when I actually say *GASP*. :rotfl2: It is kinda funny that I say it, I say sigh all the time too.

I guess that just means you are raising Chelsea right. :lmao:

60 wonderful, going to fly by, fantastic days until Disney!

Can you tell I'm excited? :upsidedow

First things first, here are the tshirts I bought on Friday. You have to love $9 Disney tshirts at Walmart. :thumbsup2

I love them both, they are so cute. I must now STOP buying tshirts for Disney. I did find a little luck at Fashion Bug on Saturday. I picked up a cute pair of purple plaid capris along with a purple and white shirt. It's a cute outfit. I also picked up a navy blue polo with flowers on it and a pair of lighter weight jean capris. I like them a lot. I might have to go and pick up another pair before our trip. :thumbsup2

I also went to the Dollar Tree on Saturday and picked up 2 cheapo travel toothbrushes and a mesh laundry bag. I'm assuming we will have to do laundry especially for our pants and shorts, being gone 9 nights. When Marc & I did laundry at Pop in 2008, we had to use one of our rolling suitcases to get the laundry down to the washers and dryers. Marc looked really funny wheeling down the suitcase in his bathing suit. :rotfl2:

Where Am I?
DisneyJan2010Day1andDay2089.jpg

I have to tell you, Jen took most of these pictures in January for the Where Am I? Thanks again for letting me use them BUT I am having a HECK of a time remembering where they were all taken. That Jen is a tricky gal.

I haven't started posting the newest version of my itinerary yet because have you noticed I haven't gotten through ONE full version of it before I change it? I'm going to wait on that a bit, so without obsessing over the actually itinerary and park days I've become obsessed with our ADRs. :rolleyes1

I've made too many I think. Ideally, I'd like 1 ADR per day. I just counted and currently have 10. I thought I had more than that. I'm doing better than I thought. :rotfl2:

My list for the 60 day countdown will be my ADRs. Here they are in order...with a bit of our itinerary throw in.

Arrival Day - Kona Cafe for lunch followed by Magic Kingdom for my birthday.

Saturday 9/4 - Animal Kingdom, meet with Leisa, Boma for an early dinner.

I have had a mild interest in Boma the last 2 years, I think the driving force is that I want to see Animal Kingdom Lodge. I've always wanted to try Jiko but for some reason Marc & I are liking the idea of trying more things at Boma. It's a surprising one.

Sunday 9/5 - MK for PM EMH's which means an arrival in mid afternoon most likely, early dinner at The Plaza. I like that this is a super affordable meal by Disney standards but we still get to sit down and eat.

Monday 9/6 - Epcot, probably all day long or close to it. Dinner at Rose & Crown Pub. So excited about going here with Marc. I've been trying to hold myself back from making 2 ADRs here during our trip.

Tuesday 9/7 - Hollywood Studios so that means lunch at Hollywood Brown Derby. Here I come strawberry cheesecake!

Wednesday 9/8 - Animal Kingdom PM EMH's. We will arrive in time for our late lunch at Yak N' Yeti at 2:30PM with probably enough time to grab a fastpass to something and then stay until park closing at 8PM. I'm excited to see AK at night...or close to it. I hope it gets dark-ish.

Thursday 9/9 - Epcot again, lunch at Les Chefs. I'm not feeling this one but I don't know what to replace it with. This might be one that we just decide to scratch and eat around World Showcase.

Friday 9/10 - Hollywood Studios for more Toy Story Mania and lunch at Mama Melrose's. This is another one that I could take or leave. I'm thinking of leaving it.

Saturday 9/11 - Before park opening breakfast at Crystal Palace. So that means Magic Kingdom. MK closes at 6pm this night for Nights of Joy, which works because then we can enjoy the park and then have a nice relaxing night...perhaps explore the Boardwalk area or I'd like to hop over to Grand Floridian. Which makes me want to make an ADR at one of those places. I'm leaning towards apps and desserts at Narcoossee's.

Sunday 9/12 - Departure Day. We'll hit up Epcot one last time and I made an impulsive ADR at Tutto Italia yesterday morning while talking to Marc about our trip. I'm not 100% sold on that either.

I think what I'm going to do is budget out all the meals, that usually clears me over booking ADRs real quick. :rotfl2:

It's just hard to tell what kind of vibe this trip will have. I know we are both going to have more energy so maybe we won't need those table service meals as much. Sometimes I feel too tied to plans when we have too many ADRs. I don't know. I know it's Free Dining too but so far the only ADR I've wanted to get and haven't been able to is Le Cellier but that happens almost anytime of the year.

I guess I just have to think on them some more before I start making new ones/canceling our current ones.

60 Days!! :dance3:

First, I really like the new t-shirts especially the Mickey one. I may need to browse through the clothing department the next time I am at Walmart. ;) The outfit from the Fashion Bug sounds really cute, too!

Hmm, where are you??? The Great Movie Ride? :confused3

Love the ADRs -- I hope you and Marc adore Boma! You know that is one of our family's favorites! It almost doesn't seem right that we aren't eating there on this trip. If you just aren't feeling the Les Chefs ressie, you could put your Tutto Italia one on that day. The food there is absolutely divine, and I don't normally like eating Italian on vacation. The entrees are huge, and you and Marc could easily split one.

I love the new t-shirts. I never think to look in Wal-Mart. I may have to go check it out. Although some might argue I already have enough Disney t's to last a lifetime. Pfft. ;)

I think your ADR plans look great and you certainly shouldn't feel badly if you decide when you're there that you aren't feeling it. Looks like you have a nice blend of old favorites and some new ones to try.

I saw All Ears updated the Y&Y menu and the Kobe burger is now on there. I think you're the one who has raved about it.

I'm not sure when they are opening but keep in mind the new pizzaria in Italy and the new restaurant in Mexico (which I think is combo quick service and sit-down?) are opening at some point. Those might be fun to try. :confused3

I concur with CP's guess... Great Movie Ride!
