Relaxation, Disney Style, PTR. ~*TRIP REPORT HAS STARTED! 9/18 Pg. 155*~

You'll have to wait for the costume chapter on the PTR! LOL ;)
Sigh. ;)

I think we need to have a little talk with Marc about how it's virtually impossible to pick something completely original that no one else will have. :lmao:

If he was Indy, you could be any of the various leading women. And do it with pizazz, my dear. ;)
Seriously. I'll give you his email and you can address this with him. :rotfl:

Oh yes, that does make sense doesn't it. ;):lmao:

DH and I were leaning toward being original mouseketeers too! White tee with our names, mouse ears....

It's easy and cool! Either that or we may skip the costumes this years!

I think I may need to take that from you and make your life easier. :thumbsup2

I like the Mouseketeer idea other folks have had. I actually did that with DS for his first Halloween, and it was so cute. We got one of the Mickey Mouse Club onesies from WDW, and he wore his first set of Mouse ears with his name embroidered on the back, and a pair of jeans for Halloween at my parents house. It was a lot of fun.

It makes me a little teary thinking about the baby's first Halloween, and my mom being gone. I love that holiday so much (it's my favorite), it feels weird to try think of what we'll do without her.

Sorry, I sidetracked. Anyway, Mouseketeer = :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Yeah for 100 days!!!!!:cool1::thumbsup2:goodvibes:banana::woohoo::yay::cheer2:AGAIN! :laughing:

I love those little framed bathing suits at the Cape May Cafe. What a cute idea, so my final answer is BEACH CLUB!!!!!!

I love the Beagle Brothers idea! They are well known here in Germany and I think they are pretty funny. They are called Panzerknacker here... :goodvibes

I do like the Mouseketeer idea a lot. I forgot to mention it to Marc last night. At this point, I'm about ready to say no costumes.

I do like the Mouseketeer idea, it would be really easy. And  to you.

Yep...again. :rotfl:

Hehehe, that is a neat name for them. Marc likes the Beagle Brothers idea the best. He was saying that true Disney fans will know who we are.

I like the Mousekateer idea. Sounds perfect. I was going to suggest Mary Poppins and Bert since they're fairly easy costume to put together (thrift store jackets, old-timey hats, gloves, an umbrella, some "soot" on your faces, etc.), but then I realized that those might be a bit too hot to walk about MNSSHP in. So, I'd go with the Mousekateers.

I was thinking of Mary Poppins and Bert on the way home today too. I was reading a Disney guide, saw a picture of Mary and thought of you. :)

Makre sure your costume involves the least amount of clothing Disney will let you in the park wearing ;) :rotfl2:

In 2008 my DH and I went to MNSSHP and we made shirts to wear. His was black with a Mickey pumpkin and mine was white with a Minnie pumpkin. I will have to dig up some pictures of them.

HI Leslie, I'm still grieving the loss of our meet, but LOVE where this TR is going. :thumbsup2 I stewed for weeks, no maybe months, over our costumes, only for Disney to give us the poo-move on our party. Mouseketeers? Easy peasy! I've never heard of the Beagle Bros., but then again, I live practically on the moon too. :lmao: I'd say, easy is a good thing. :confused3

I really would love to do something Mary Poppins related but I just can't think of anything that would be on the easy/cool side. :confused3

Hehehe. A Mary Poppins costume would be so much fun.

Exactly. I don't want to be sweltering.

The tees sound really cute! Maybe we should just do Halloween themed shirts.

I'm still bummed we can't meet either. :headache:

Mouseketeers are very easy, they are towards the top of the list for me.

LL, I don't think Mary Poppins would be too difficult. Keep it simple. What about the white dress? Find a white skirt and top, and add a red sash and some red accents to it. Then you'd just need to find a white hat, and a parasol. Bert as a chimney sweep shouldn't be too bad either. Marc can be a chimney sweep with short sleeves. A pair of black pants or cargo shorts, with a black top, some "soot", and a broom. Voila!

That is a very good idea. Hmmm. I really don't know. I could go in too many directions and I'm having a hard time deciding!

I saw so many cute costumes last year....I had on a black t-shirt from Target with a silver spiderweb :rotfl2: It was soooooooooo hot last year and that was in October. I remember one family that really stood out...they were The Incredibles...they looked cool...but hot :rotfl2:
I did find some really cute Mickey Halloween bags on ebay that I used as a tote that night....I am really looking forward to the party again this year...just love the parade and the fireworks are amazing! :)

I'm with you, Leslie. I still don't know what costume I will be wearing to MNSSHP in September. My friend is going as a pirate. I was thinking of making my own pirate costume, too, but I'm not a very good seamstress. Costumes are expensive if you can't sew. ARGH!

I don't want to miss dressing up. . .hmm. . .I guess back to the drawing board for me.

Good luck picking your costumes! I don't know if you are like me, but I'm a perfectionist. I would want my costume to be perfect. That really stinks!:sad2:

Your tshirt sounds really cute. I'm really worried about the heat, I don't want anything too involved because of that worry.

Hallowishes are my favorite fireworks...at least out of the ones I've seen so far.

You could dress up as a pirate really easily. Some black capri pants, a sash, a tshirt. :thumbsup2

Wouldn't it be cool to cut out the letters of your name and Wonder Under them on?? So easy!
It would be very cute and more importantly COOL. :3dglasses

I really want to do the poodle skirt thing but I think it's going to be too hot. Most times people make them out of felt to get the shape right but I can't imagine have felt up against my legs at Disney.
