Relaxation, Disney Style, PTR. ~*TRIP REPORT HAS STARTED! 9/18 Pg. 155*~

My dh wants to eat a turkey leg too. I don't like that show either, my stomach turns and I feel sick if my dh watches it. I leave the room now and read or watch tv in the bedroom.

Favorite parade-from the past Tapestry of Dream, present-Spectro

Favorite treat- the old stand by Mickey Ice Cream Bar

Guesses

1 Yak & Yeti, Crystal Palace, Brown Derby, Kona & Rose and Crown

3 Le Cellier

I think he just wants to channel his inner Fred Flinstone. ;)

:rotfl:

I've had a turkey leg once - not at WDW, but at a local festival. It was huge, but, I have to say...it was delicious!! I don't think I could bring myself to order one at WDW though, too many other options!

I must try that pretzel.

A favorite snack is a very hard choice. I highly enjoyed the pretzel from Germany. I also love the strawberry cake from Sunshine Seasons. And Itzakadoozie's are just plain fun. The taste isn't anything special but I feel like a big kid eating one and that is what Disney is about. And a Mickey Bar.

lk;ajsdklfjasdklj I can't wait to eat there!!!

Oh, LL and Brook - don't take this to the bank, but I believe I've heard that "Tom Morrow" is back in the TTA narration. :thumbsup2

:hyper: I hope you are right!!

Speaking of a financial standpoint -- I totaled up all of our receipts from our trip, and we saved so much money by not doing the dining plan! We just eat differently than what the dining plan offers. With all the tips and alcoholic drinks and appetizers included, we only spent $1000 on ALL of our food the entire week (remember we are a family of four). The dining plan alone (with no tips, appetizers, or drinks) would have been $940. I was quite pleased. I was really afraid I was going to wish we had done the dining plan in retrospect.
I'm wondering the opposite lol! We saved about $250 last year by doing the DDP, it will be interesting to see what it is post game analysis this time, as you well know, I've gone back and forth (and back and forth and back and forth)

:rotfl:
43 days! Time is just flying by now!

I hate to say it but those turkey legs are G-R-O-S-S. The cream cheese pretzel on the other hand.... looks amazing! Where do you get them? I definitely want to give 'em a try next time I'm there.

Hmmm. Let me give it a think.
Get your think on! :lmao:

I also like the idea of being able to order whatever you want! You can often make an entire meal out of Disney appetitizers anyways, they are a good size. And sometimes I find something more appealing to me on the appetizer menu instead of the entree one!!!
I usually are more intrigued by the appetizers than the entrees. I don't know why but they usually sound SO YUMMY!

We are cream cheese pretzel soulmates, Girlie!!! Maybe THAT should be our Meet??!!! Ok, I confess, I've never had one, but they sound like they are to die for, and are actually one of my top snack choices I"ve listed on my PTR!!

Now, for ones I've had: it'd have to be Dole Whip Float. Heaven in a cup!
We can do a cream cheese pretzel meet if you want! That sounds like fun. They are at the Launching Pad under the Astro Orbiter at MK.

Spectro is definately my favorite parade too!
Ride narration: Haunted Mansion and old TTA. Its a tie.
Snack: Plain old pretzel for me!

My guesses:
A) Artist Point, Crystal Palace, Brown Derby, Teppan Edo, Le Cellier
B) 2
C) California Grill
Guesses have been noted. :thumbsup2

First, yes, I quoted myself. LOL

Second, my guesses are:

1.) Kona Cafe, Liberty Tree Tavern, Brown Derby, Yak & Yeti and Crystal Palace
2.) 2
3.) Le Cellier
You are present and accounted for. :goodvibes I'm dying to comment on these but don't want to give anything away!

You know, I've never seen the pretzels at Disney! :scared1: How is it that I have missed them every time????
:scared1: Launching/Lunching Pad (can't remember what it's called) under the Astro Orbiter in Tomorrowland. Be there or be square.

I can usually just read and tune out the tv. It's gross.

I adore Spectro, I love listening to the soundtrack in the car.

I can't wait either. I am so ready to be at Disney and to be on vacation!

They look gross to me. Hopefully he'll forget about it. :lmao:

I'm thinking it will be there for at least a year.

This is exciting news. I'm hoping against hope that it will at least extend thru Oct but am not sure how they'll balance it with their special parties for Halloween and Christmas respectively. :confused3

Fingers crossed. I would really, really, REALLY love to see this piece of my childhood again. :goodvibes

:yay::yay::yay: I am soooo excited, I emailed Joe at work just to tell him, I was bursting!!!
That would ROCK.
WOO HOO! Marc is sleeping or I'd call him and tell him. :lmao:

I will take pictures, I'm not sure how the video is on my new camera but I will certainly try!

Mr. Moneybags keeps telling me he wants to buy one of those Flip video cameras before our trip. :lmao:
