There are no MNSSHP dates when we are there anymore, Disney cancelled them.

I haven't seen Cirque but I'm not sure if I'm feeling it for this trip.

Yes. I weighed myself yesterday and was down some weight so I decided to change my ticker to help keep me focused! Thanks.

It was at Yak N' Yeti and it wasn't on the menu when I went in January either. Jen did just have it at Yak N' Yeti last weekend. So I'm thinking maybe it's just not on the allears menu?? I'm assuming that is where you are looking.

I do think that it may just be served at lunch though. Not 100% on that.

This must be a day for cliffhangers on the DIS trip reports. I'm trying hard to think of what could be both a "big change" and "nothing to get too excited about".

I suppose I shouldn't have teased that there were changes all around...because it's really only one big change.

Guess what I received on Wednesday morning in my email?

A PIN CODE!

I couldn't believe it. I've been waiting for a coveted pin code since I found out that they existed.

I wasn't sure if the Pin Code was better than what I already had booked for Riverside so I decided to give a little call.

It was better but there was a catch.

The pin code started September 1st. We had a few options.

1. Book two packages, one for 8/29 - 9/1 and then the other 9/1 - 9/7.

2. Change our dates to 9/1 - 9/10.

3. Contemplate a complete change and go in December.

I quickly crossed #3 off the list. As much as I want to see the Holiday decorations, I know that I can't wait until December to take a vacation.

I thought about having 2 reservations but then the pin code wouldn't save us as much money. If we changed our dates to 9/1 - 9/10 our savings would be a little over $150 from our current package, not too shabby.

So I did what every good wife would do....I called Marc from work and woke him up. (He works overnight, sleeps during the day) and made him make the decision about changing dates.

Of course he said yes, Mr. Moneybags does like to save money where possible.

Oh and remember a few posts back when I was freaking out because he hadn't taken the vacation time off and approved the second in command to be gone for a few days while we were gone.....?? Well, he quietly said "And if I have to work that Sunday (8/29 - our former departure day) then I can and still be ready to leave on Wednesday (9/1). He finally came clean when I officially switched the dates that he was able to find coverage for the other two days but couldn't find anyone for the Sunday...I wonder when he was going to tell me this?? Oy. MEN! PFFFFFFFFFT!

So we are now saving 40% off our room, adding another $150 to spend somewhere else. I'm very happy. I'm only slightly sad that we are leaving a few days later because I need this vacation but it all works out.

I still haven't decided on my treat for reaching Tomorrowland. Everyone had such good suggestions!

I think the ones I'm most interested in are:
1. Parasailing
2. Photo Shoot
3. Characters in Flight @ DTD
4. Renting watercraft somewhere

I really want this treat to be about me though and that makes me want to pick Parasailing. Marc even said when I mentioned it that it's something I told him on our very first date that I wanted to do someday. He also said he doesn't really care if he gets to go. That he really wants me to pick something that I'll enjoy that he can see me enjoy. He's the best.

But again, I feel selfish if I go parasailing and he doesn't. I don't even know if it's something he really wants to do. I don't want to diminish what Marc has accomplished but I think it's way less mental for him than it is me. He's not an emotional eater like I am, so I've had to work crazy hard to rein that in. I need something for ME to celebrate what I've accomplished.

Guess I just rambled for the last three paragraphs.

I can't find a shirt to match my new skirt. What color would you all go with? I've been thinking white but I know myself and I don't photograph well in white and I won't like the pictures that are taken when I wear it. I'm complex like that.

I like the navy color in it, do you think a Navy tee would be okay?

I ordered 3 pairs of capris about two weeks ago from OneStopPlus.com and they finally arrived. WELL, I ordered the size I wear in Old Navy jeans and one size smaller since my current size is getting TOO BIG. Yay! These new capris? Don't fit. I think they are atleast two sizes smaller than what I need! Why can't companies just have universal sizing!?! It's so frustrating. I'm giving up on the capri hunt for awhile. I would just order them from Old Navy but right now they just have this ones that are all distressed and holey and I am not willing to pay $30 for a pair of holey capris.

Okay. I'm done ranting now.

EDIT: Sully was still in the drawer when I started typing up my update. I heard him jump down. I just got up and turned around and there is Ruby in the drawer now. It must be the place to be in my house for cats.

For a split second there I thought you were going to say you'd chosen December and I might actually get the chance to meet you, but I'm glad the new dates work out for you.

For your skirt I was going to suggest a match to the darkest colour in there and then I read it's navy.... yes, I think that would look really good! Did you say that was an Old Navy skirt? Ariana and I just went shopping there after the Disney Store and we saw something similar to it. In the store they paired it with a white tank and a navy jean jacket.
