Relaxation, Disney Style, PTR. ~*TRIP REPORT HAS STARTED! 9/18 Pg. 155*~

Good luck today with your fill!

Your first two days' plans look great! I really do like that three things each day -- I am so using that for the next trip!

Hi LL:

Good luck with your fill!

I love your bathing suit. I especially love the price!!!!!!

You have wonderful things planned for your first two days! I love Riverside. I know you guys are going to have a great trip!

I am so pysched you are going in early September because that means I will have a PTR to keep me entertained until I go in mid September. Right now I am scheming about how to make my trip a bit longer and incorporate some solo time! :rolleyes1

Hi Leslie....hope all went well this morning with your fill
I read all through your day 1 and 2 thinking hmmmm this looks really good and then you post you are happy with it and not making any changes :rotfl2: I laughed right out loud!!
I bought a bathing suit that goes across the top like that this year too....I try to cover up as much as I can after all of my years of damage I did when I was younger :sad2:

You're going to do fine!! No worrying, OK??
You were totally right!

It's a really good system. :goodvibes

I can't wait to try out my bathing suit. I just need to find somewhere to test it out. I want to find a nice lake to dip my toes in.

Oooh, MEK. You really need to squeeze in some solo time. It is FANTASTIC! :woohoo:

Tracy
It went really well. :goodvibes

Well, I liked these two first days....but the next two I am not so sure about so trust me, I will need your help.

I have to cover up too, I had an unfortunate burning incident in Bermuda on my honeymoon and my shoulders haven't quite recovered. I'm actually going to the dermatologist on Wednesday to have some moles checked out. :scared1:

LL, hope everything went well with the doctor today! :goodvibes
It went really well, thanks! :goodvibes

My fill went great!! :banana::woohoo::banana:

I couldn't believe how easy the fill was. I actually whooped outloud at the surgeon's office when he finished. It didn't hurt and it took two seconds.

I'm feeling CRAZY good restriction so that is awesome. I've eaten very little today as I'm supposed to be on liquids for 24 hours, usually I cheat. Not today, liquids all around. I hope this will be my "sweet" spot for good restriction.

After my wonderful appointment, we went and bought my new camera and then ran errands. I'll be honest, I haven't even put the battery in the camera yet. I plan to do that tonight after school while I'm watching the Grey's Anatomy season finale.

I only have time to post one day of the itinerary as class starts in 20 minutes.

Day Three - Friday 9/3 – Happy Birthday Leslie!
*Crystal Palace @ 8:15AM
*Magic Kingdom (9-9PM)
*Three Things:
- Ariel & Prince Eric Meet & Greet
- Dumbo
- Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse
*QS Lunch (MK, Riverside or Resort Hop)
*Narcoossee’s @ 8:30PM

Did you see that ADR I snuck in for my Birthday? Actually this one is 100% on Marc. He wanted to get into the park before opening again. It is really cute to see how excited he is for this trip.

I have to be honest, I'm doubting Narcoossee's. I feel guilty spending the money when we have added in the new Walt tour. And let's face it, we live in New England. We have access to wonderful seafood, granted it's not Disney seafood. I'm sure it's extra magical. I mentioned this to Marc and he said that we should just do it. I don't know if he has a winning lottery ticket in his backpack or what but he keeps adding and adding stuff. Maybe I should suggest staying at the Polynesian? While I want to take advantage of this, I'm not ready to go hog wild. I worry too much. :rolleyes1

So the cons for skipping Narcoossee's are that we won't have a romantical dinner but we could make Brown Derby that way. It's something different that we haven't done at Disney.

The pros are I don't have to worry about a nice outfit for dinner. We don't have to stress getting to the Grand Floridian, for some reason I stress wicked about this. I don't know what my problem is. And we could have more Magic Kingdom time that night. Also, we could spend the whole day at MK if we wanted and not have to take a break at Riverside and change for dinner. We could head over to Grand Floridian for lunch or dinner and then head back over to MK. I kinda like that idea.

So what do you think??

YAY for a good fill!! I'm so glad this experience went a lot easier than the last ones!!! YAY for reaching the sweet spot!!!

OOOH...new camera can't wait to see what it looks like and the pictures it takes!!!!

I don't see you giving up POR LOL!! :rotfl: However if you think Marc will go for it, can't hurt to ask LOL!!!!!

I'm not sure what to say about your dinner at Narcoosee's! I know that you have wanted to eat there for a very long time and you can watch Wishes from there, but if you are going to stress about going, it might not be worth it!! How was that for not being helpful at all...oh well you knew that going in, I'm a Libra can't make a decision LOL!!!!

I think I might be to blame for the whole transportation fears LOL :rolleyes1

I might just ask. :rotfl:

I hate feeling stressed over plans but then again I want to do certain things. I don't know what will make me feel better.

Yes, you are totally to blame for my transportation woes. ;)

I'm glad too. It is a HUGE weight lifted off my shoulders. I got the Sony Cybershot H555....I think. Now I can't remember.

It's great to hear that everything went so well and you are feeling so good about it. :cool1:

Hope you had a good class tonight! :)

So glad your fill went well! :cool1:

Narcossee's (which I still can't spell) is a nice romantic setting. Take that into consideration when you decide. You can get some nice pictures from the deck and walking through the GF and out onto the grounds is lovely. My meal there was average, but I would still go back and give it another try. Hmmmmm..... decisions, decisions! :confused3

LOL...way to COMPLETELY blame me LOL!!!

Another idea, You could also get dressed go back to MK and then take the Boat...we all know how much you love the BOAT rides at Disney LOL!!!

Have you already priced it out??? LOL!!!!! I think you should ask LOL!;)

So glad your appointment went well. And how fun to be planning your birthday in Disney! :yay: I'm afraid I'm going to be no help. I just heard on the DIS podcast that Kevin recommended Narcoossee's as one of his favorite restaurants. As a result I'm dying to try it. Part of me wants to say, "it's vacation; live it up!" but I also get that reality is looming in the background for all of us. Stupid reality. :headache:

So happy you had a successful appointment today Leslie!
That must be such a relief!

I know how you feel about Narcoosee's it's been on our to try list as well. It seems to be the one to get crossed off too.
I think that happened again for our July trip.:headache:

Either way, the tour or the meal, it will be one great experience crossed off of your Disney list.
Unless Marc does have a winning lottery ticket!:goodvibes
Then do it all!

Leslie! I am SO happy that your fill went well, and that you are already feeling that it is going to be "just right" in the long run!!! That is a great thing!!

First, I said, "NO worrying". Now I'll say, "YAY for NO cheating". :goodvibes YOu've done so well! :cheer2:

OK, Narcoosees... Would it be possible to take an extra change of clothes with you to the park? Something VERY light - a sheer-ish top to throw OVER your t-shirt to fancy you up?? And a pair of shoes? You could throw them in a locker, not have stress, and start your romantical dinner with a romantical boat ride over to Flo.

Hi LL, I am so happy to hear that your fill went well!! It's wonderful that the second operation was not useless!! :goodvibes

On Narcoossee's: This was my sister's birthday meal in February and in the end we realized that while it was a nice meal, it was the least favourite of all the signature restaurants we visited. Not because it was bad in any way. But it felt just like a nice restaurant that could be anywhere in the world. Wishes was a nice addition and I preferred the way it looks from there to the way it looks from the Cali Grill. But if you want to enjoy Wishes fully, I always think it looks the very best from the point where Main Street meets the hub!! So I would vote in favour of dropping it. :goodvibes But that's just me! :confused3

LL, If you really want to go to Narcoosses go for it. You can always save some money by sharing an appetizer or dessert. I think it would be a wonderfully romantical spot for a birthday dinner.

Hope you had a good class tonight! :)
Thanks! Class has been interesting so far. The teacher is different...very laid back and we don't get much accomplished which is frustrating for me.

So glad your fill went well! :cool1:

I think I've made a decision regarding the Narcoossee's debate. But you'll have to wait for that.

Yes, I do love the boat. Did you doubt I'd get to Grand Floridian any other way? :rotfl:

I did price out Polynesian last night, crazy expensive. Then I priced out AKL and it was much more affordable, Marc ok'd changing to AKL but in the end my heart belongs to Riverside.

It's not only the money...for some reason I can't get my head wrapped around leaving MK that day, changing and then going to Grand Floridian. Everytime I get home from a trip I wished that I had spent more time in Magic Kingdom. I don't want to feel this way on this trip. :confused3

So happy you had a successful appointment today Leslie!

It's a HUGE relief. I am really so happy that it's working the way it supposed too now.

He doesn't have a winning lottery ticket, don't I wish!

Thank you so much! I'm really excited about this recent fill. I haven't tried solid food yet, I plan on having tuna with some avocado for lunch, I hope it goes well. :rolleyes1

Marc said he'd carry a backpack on the day that we went to Narcoossee's so we could change but I'm just worried I'll want to go back to the room to freshen up. :confused3

I'd really love to watch Wishes from the hub this trip, hopefully that will happen. I am leaning towards dropping Narcoossee's. I'm just not feeling it.

LL, If you really want to go to Narcoosses go for it. You can always save some money by sharing an appetizer or dessert. I think it would be a wonderfully romantical spot for a birthday dinner.
We'll probably be sharing quite a bit on this trip so that really does help with the money concerns. At this point, I'm feeling like I don't want to go to Narcoossee's.

I've solved my Narcoossee's angst!

I'm very happy with the new plan.

So we will recap Day 3 because it's my PTR and I want too.

Day 3: Friday 9/3 – Happy Birthday Leslie!
*Crystal Palace @ 8:15AM
*Magic Kingdom (9-9PM)
*Three Things:
- Ariel & Prince Eric Meet & Greet
- Dumbo
- Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse
*QS Lunch (MK, Riverside or Resort Hop)
*QS Dinner (MK, Riverside or Resort Hop)

I forgot to mention last night that Marc & I are going to Crystal Palace courtesty of Jen. She has graciously offered to pay for our Crystal Palace meal as my Birthday present. I am very excited to eat with Pooh & Eeyore on my Birthday. To be honest, I really only want my picture with Eeyore. He's my favorite out of the Pooh Gang. I just love that little tail.

I thought a good idea for our QS lunch if we don't feel like going back to Riverside would be to head to Wilderness Lodge, the Polynesian or Grand Floridian to take a rest, a nice relaxing boat ride and to eat lunch at an out of park QS location. I like this idea a lot. I'm leaning towards the Polynesian but I'm thinking I'd like to sneak over to GF as well because I have never been over there.

For dinner, I'm leaning towards Casey's for some corn dog nuggets. :cloud9:

You see that I've taken Narcoossee's off the itinerary. I've replaced it with another Signature Dining establishment that I've been wanting to try since I first saw the menu. I've had an ADR here before and had to cancel on the trip. Any guesses? I've added it to day 4.

Day 4: Saturday 9/4
*Animal Kingdom @ Rope Drop (9-5PM)
*Meet Leisa (All7ofUs) @ Pangini Trail 10AM
*Five Things:
- Expedition Everest
- It’s Tough to be a Bug
- Maharajah Jungle Trek
- Finding Nemo: The Musical
- Kilimanjaro Safari
*Yak N’ Yeti @ 1PM
*Jiko @ 6:15PM
*Pick up Zebra Domes @ AKL

Yep! JIKO! I am so excited since Jen & I had to cancel this due to me gorging myself at Yak N' Yeti on the Kobe Beef Burger. I felt awful after that and didn't want to eat at Jiko while I was feeling poorly.

The plan for Y&Y this time is for Marc & I to share the Kobe Beef Burger and the Fried Wontons and call it day. Marc did mention maybe adding in an appetizer to share as well but we'll see.

We have a meet planned with Leisa (All7ofUs, check out her PTR here!) and possibly Maroo as well at the Pangini Trail. I'm excited to meet them, I think it will be fun. I always feel like such a dork during DIS meets though, shy and nervous. I'm going to try to get over that.

You'll also see that we have way more than three things at AK. It will be a busy day for sure. I originally had Finding Nemo, Expedition Everest and It's Tough to be a Bug but then Marc told me that we had to add in the Safari and then I wanted to see the Maharajah Jungle Trek because it's been years since I've been on any of the trails.

I think we can do everything though. I figure we can get to the park, head over to Expedition Everest to get fastpasses. I'm still nto 100% convinced that I will go through with riding it. I'm terrified but Marc wants me to go on it with him so badly that I hate to disappoint him. Then we'll have over to the Pangini Trail, have the meet. Get fastpasses for the Safari, go ride EE, have lunch, ride the safari and then the other few things on our list. The only tough spot will be fitting in Finding Nemo since they are set showtimes. I do plan on staying for the entire day at AK. Marc has never been and he really wants to see as much as possible. If I get cranky or tired, I will rest or meet some characters and send him to trek on his own.

Afterwards, we'll head to AKL for our dinner. Marc has agreed to wear a backpack on this day to carry our change of clothes and if he gets sick of it we'll rent a locker. I'm super excited to check out AKL and of course buy those Zebra Domes. :cloud9:

I feel so much better about these new plans, I think taking out Narcoossee's was the right thing to do. We are still planning on the tour as well. We just have to wait to buy the tickets until Marc gets paid with his part time job and we are buying our flights first so it may be a month or so. So hopefully they will still be available. :goodvibes

LOL...love that your priced the resorts out!! I have to agree with you POR just does it for me!! Of course having the boat is nice, I'm starting to see why you love the boat rides so much! I'm going to have to take advantage of the boats next time I'm there!

I have that same feeling about MK!!! I always wish I had more time there...and I always make sure that it is the last park I visit, next trip will be no exception!! You know me, I have to buy my going home fudge LOL!
