The first week is always the hardest! I think it takes an enormous amount of energy to navigate the 1st week- trying to figure it all out, re-arranging your sleep schedule, undoubtedly missing sleep because of nerves, etc.... Leslie, it WILL get easier as you slide into a routine and get a grasp on a new way of doing things! Hang in there, Sweetie! :hug:

When I read the first part of your post, I thought, UhOh, what happened to her trip? I'm glad you still have most of it taken care of. Those ADRs will fall into place. It will be fine. It was a good idea to walk away from the computer.

It's almost the end of the work week!!!
No, there is still a trip. I would have gone off the deep end if it had been canceled. I will be honest and say that I keep waiting for something awful to happen to cancel the trip, it's almost like I'm holding my breath.

I've been wearing a pedometer for the challenge so I enter my total steps and then any other activity besides walking you enter the minutes in.


Going back to school is always an adjustment. Even when school starts up again in the Fall for me I am so tired every day for at least the first two weeks. I try to be very easy on myself during that time. Hang in there! It will get better! Think Disney thoughts!!:hug:
I'm taking it easy this weekend. Luckily Saturday classes don't start until NEXT week. Yaya!

Yes you have been very busy and the first week of school is a huge adjustment, so you are allowed to be TIRED, I know I would be!!
Yes, relaxing is good. I usually get up and out of the house pretty early to run my errands but I'm still in my pj's and it feels good!

On a lighter note...;) wow!!!! Do I love your countdown for Marc!!!! What an awesome idea!!! I love it.......I have a Disney desk calendar on my work desk and instead of recycling the tear offs everyday perhaps I will keep them for my own future countdown ;) My niece loves making them :goodvibes When she is going, that is :rotfl2:
I think you should do the room only....when I was in Disney last week my friend that was with me is the one with the lapband and she definitely ate on a much smaller scale than me....especially there. The upside for me is that I got to finish all of her food...she ate a lot of fish..scallops...has problems with chicken, steak and pork :confused3
I think it is so wonderful you will be there for your birthday!!! I thought about going for mine but I will be hiding under a rock. Far, far away :rotfl2:

Glad you like the countdown! I'm going to try to work on it this weekend, I want to finish it but I have tons of studying to do for my first quiz on Tuesday. Eeek!

We decided to go with the room only. Like your friend, I just like having the ability to order whatever I want and sharing is always good too. I hate seeing good Disney food go to waste. Hehe.

Yes, the dining reservations finally worked out about 2 hours after I posted my update. I can cross that off my to do list. Phew.

The first week is always the hardest! Well I understand how a new schedule can throw you for a loop, but you will get the hang of it. You just need time to sort it all out. You will.

Glad the trip planning works out -- I think room only is a good choice for this trip and I am glad you went that way, this way you won't feel compelled to "eat by the plan" it gives you more flexibility. And you'll have a fabulous time! We love eating appetizers for dinner! a little of this and a little of that!!!! :goodvibes

I sat around for a bit longer and then went out. I did my errands in record speed though. I just wanted to get home. :laughing: Just finished watching a movie, "The Young Victoria" with Emily Blunt. Very good by the way. Did dishes, threw in some laundry and now it's time for homework! Yay.

I'm ashamed to say I've been wasting 2.5 hours on the computer. Now, I HAVE to get up and get going. . .don't worry. . .I'll still check in on the DIS and on Facebook! :surfweb::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

It really did. I think a lot of factors this week just threw me off and made me more tired and cranky than I am normally. Thank goodness I had my trip to think about!

You managed to get more accomplished today than I did. After we got back from the farmers' market, I was a big slug the rest of the day. I am going to regret that come tomorrow. Oh well.
