Relax boys, the belly dancer does not want your singles! 9/2 final update p.87

:rotfl2: You will be alive!!!! :lmao:

Yeah, but only cuz I'll have my very own personal EMT with me!

Wow that really is enormous :rotfl2:

It was! And I was forced to help her finish it too! Geez.

I'm not a fan either but that sounds a lovely tradition :thumbsup2

It is! Just thinking about it now makes me :)

OMG 25 minutes? Really :faint:

From my room to hers, yup! And I'm in pretty good shape, too! That place is huge.

Thanks for the pics of OKW Keith :cloud9: I'm getting very excited about being there:cool1:

It was a lot nicer than I thought it was going to be! Not that I thought it was gonna be a dump, but being the cheapest DVC resort (points-wise), I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did.

Not me. I try to avoid direct human interaction whenever possible. ::yes:: That's why I like the DIS so much!

:rotfl:

Hmmm.... and Keith has one too! It must be some sort of Dis-nerd uniform!

It is! Say it loud!

Pretty much! It was FAR too big for one person. I do wish I had listened to Keith and got the chocolate chip one too. Sugar cookies are my favorite usually, but I think the ice cream would just "go" better with chocolate chip. (don't tell Keith I said I should have listened to him, kay? :ssst:)

:thumbsup2

:

I keep hearing that the food at the Swan/Dolphin is awesome! Can't wait for your review. 50's is on my to-do list too. And pool days are the best!!! :cloud9:
In all of the reviews I've read it was highly recommended. We're celebrating our 10 yr wedding anniversary and my DH's 40th so I wanted to find something with alittle ambience . If you know what I mean :dancer:

Have you been to Disneyland? pixiedust:
I haven't but really can't wait to see where it all started!!

Hi ajf!

Well to use multi-quotes, sometimes you have to manually clean things up in the code (your post before you submit it). If you want to post what someone says, then respond to it, remember to "wrap" their words. So it's prefaced with a QUOTE=INSERT NAME HERE and is followed by QUOTE -- I used a different bracket the second time only to show you the example, otherwise "and is followed by" would have been in a quote box. You wrap all tags (tags are instructions, like QUOTE, IMG, etc) with the square brackets: and .
Hope that helps!
Thanks so much! I got it! :woohoo: I appreciate it. BTW, I read your Marcilene TR and it was fantastic! I really enjoyed it as well as witnessing the human jungle gym in some of the pictures! That's so great! My DH and I don't have kids and won't have them so I always love hanging out with everyone elses kids!

^^^^ Ambience rocks! :lovestruc Congrats on your anniversary!!!! I turned 40 in March and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I hope your DH is doing better than I did.

:lmao: I am so excited for you to be here next month DisneylandForever! :cloud9:

LOL! You're goofy.

Thank you! Marceline was such a cool experience. And yeah, I tend to always have kid footprints on me! If we end up going in September too, stop by the Carousel of Progress and you'll see firsthand. :rotfl:

It looked like you had a great time and really enjoyed yourself! You got it, we'll just look for the human jungle gym! We're going 9/20 to 9/27, maybe we'll see you all there!!

Thanks! I can't believe how fast 10 years have gone, where did they go? :rolleyes1 It's been a blast though! He seems to be handling it so far, I'm sure once it gets closer he'll have some issues. I'm throwing him a surprise party in August (his bday is Sept 15) and his best friends are coming in from NJ, San Francisco and Tennessee, which will really suprise him.
40 comes next year for me so we'll see how that goes, I think men tend to handle it better than women and I had major issues with 30 so 40 should probably put me over the edge!:rotfl2:

party: A surprise party sounds fun! My DH went surfing in Mexico for a week for his 40th. Let me warn you on turning 40, if you have any weight to lose, DO IT NOW! ;) Being healthier made turning 40 a little less painful. Ask Kirsteen here on this thread, she has lost over 50 lb. :woohoo:

Now that's my kinda 40th! I love Mexico!!!! I'm not sure what I'm going to do for my 40th, but I think it has to include cocktails, massages and quite possibly sand...hmmmm....did I say cocktails? :yay: I definitely agree with being healthier, I find that the healthier and stronger I feel, the better my complete outlook is. I do go to gym and take a kickboxing class which has helped me lessen my stress. It was a promise I made to myself in February and have been going strong ever since, I think that making it part of your routine is key. It's second nature now and if I get thrown off of my schedule I feel in disaray. So I guess that's going to help me next year, as long as I can maintain. I travel a lot for work so the biggest hurdle has been making sure that I continue that routine. It was alittle difficult in China but once I got over the time difference wasn't so bad.

BTW, I think you look great and definitely don't look 40 to me!

WAY TO GO KIRSTEEN THAT ROCKS!!!!!:cheer2:

:cloud9: Cocktails, sand, and massages! You are my kind of traveler! :woohoo: ITA with you on making being healthy a habit and second nature! If I go more than a day without some form of exercise, either walking or yoga, I start to feel cagey! :hyper:

:thanks: for the compliment! :goodvibes

Good morning all.

:wave2: How are ya? Doing anything fun this weekend?

I am good. This weekend I am going to get my brows waxed and my hair cut. I have to go shopping for a bday present then go to the said party for the neighbors little girl. Plus I have to do all my regular weekend stuff like grocery shopping and some errands that I only have time for on the weekend. So I guess I will be busy. What are your plans for the weekend?

Sounds like a busy weekend you have planned. Don't you hate having to shove everything in on the weekends?!

Mine looks a little similar. Tonight I am taking my friend out for her bday to a play/performance of Saturday's Voyeur. It's about how wacky this great state of Utah. total satire! pirate: Tomorrow I have to clean the house then I am taking the kids swimming. Sunday we are going to a local amusement park called Lagoon. Google it and you will feel my pain. :scared: It ain't no Disney. I take the kids once during the summer when my newphew, who works there, scores me $10 pp passes. ;)

And on an exciting note:

Our RCI wait list came through!!!!

:woohoo: I am super jacked up. I logged into the DVC member site and viola, our Mexico wait list came through for next winter/spring pixiedust:. Got a one bedroom (they call it a Luxury Suite), Sunday to Sunday, for 160 points! It's not an AI, thank goodness (hate those) and I am just so excited. The resort is playagranderesort.com Our first choice was Zihua, Mexico but we adore Cabo too. I am so grateful as I wanted to prove to DH that we would use our DVC for more than Disney. ;) pirate: Cabo is much more lively than Zihua but our resort is not in the heart of town which is a good thing. We are all about the street food, Dos por Uno cocktails, and the sunsets! :cloud9: Our suite has a king bed, full kitchen, and sleeper sofa. They say they all have ocean views but I am going to call and love them up for a killer view. Town is a 10 minute walk which is perfect and they have a breakfast buffet with all you can drink Mimosas for $18. Mmmmm...... :woohoo:

Your trip to Mexico sounds like fun. I just checked to see what airfair is running and if I can change our dates to 2 days earlier then our flights will be.......

are you sitting down? $84 (each way) a person :faint: :dance3::banana::dance3: So now I am checking to see if I can change my ressie.
