aww....love your new puppy....he is so cute :lovestruc

yay!!!!! there's nothing better than a new puppy.

be sure to stock up on the pee-pee pads and sour apple spray! that's the best stuff for a new puppy. the spray is awesome. you put it on corners of couches or anything that you think he/she may chew on and they won't! i hope he/she is a good doggie! puppies require lots of patience but it's all worth it as they get out of the puppy/chewy/poop-in-the-house phase.

Wednesday May 13th.....Jenna's version

So we woke up bright and early for our Animal Kingdom day.:thumbsup2 We were determined to make rope drop so we all piled (and I do mean piled;)) into our Trailblazer to drive over to AK. We made it! :woohoo: We actually made rope drop!:faint: Michael ran to get EE fastpasses & the rest of us headed to the Safari. A quick stop to get pics in front of the Tree of Life, but Jenny wasn't kidding when she said that we had the s-l-o-w-e-s-t Photo Pass CM.:sad2: We practically had to run to the Safari after that to meet up with Michael. We rode the safari and then headed over to Asia. The brave ones rode EE and the Kali River Rapids. Emma was still too little to ride EE but she did ride Kali and loved it! My thrill rider in the making!:cutie:

While the others were riding I took time to do one of my favorite things- get a frozen mocha at the Royal Anandupur Tea Company. But, sadly they don't sell the frozen mochas anymore. They had frozen cappuccinos instead. Drizzled with chocolate, it was still good! I also bought Nate a tea which hours later still burned his tongue (it was that HOT!)

We decided to try the Yak & Yeti counter service for lunch. I got the honey chicken and let me tell you, it was delicious!!!!:cloud9: I am still craving it!!
At some point during the day we managed to collect about 20 FP's for EE. I texted Keith & Tracy to offer some to them but Keith avoids AK like the plague!:rotfl2:

We decided that we were not doing park commando and left mid-day for a swim break. After changing into our bathing suits we piled back into the car and drove to the big pool. It felt so refreshing on another HOT day. Jenny and I got our frozen drinks at the Gurgling Suitcase and let the kids swim while we relaxed. After our drinks, Michael & Jenny took their "paddle-boat ride" while Nate and I swam with the kids. No fitness room for me today! ;)After they got back, the pool party started & Emma had a blast dancing on the pool deck. She didn't do too well with the hula hoop contest though. Gab, Chloe, & Josh were fantastic hula-hoopers and they all made it to the final five. Josh & Gab made it to the final three, but someone bumped Josh & he dropped his hoop. Gab won though which was really cool! Meanwhile, while we were partying on the pool deck, the men were having their own party with the beer & snacks Nate smuggled down. I went over to join our little group & Jenny informed me that as we were all in a "relaxed" state, she
didn't think we'd make our ressies for Boma. She made some later ressies for Olivia's. We headed over to the hot-tub while the men watched the kiddos. Jenny was still debating over whether we should have gone to Boma. I made a snap decision & said let's go! We informed the (shocked) men and never got so ready so fast!:cool2:

Dinner at Boma was great & we were all glad we came. I love, love, love :lovestructhe carrot ginger soup & could have made a meal of that alone. Nate loves the curry soup and our waiter even told hime he'd bring the pot to the table so Nate could enjoy it all. :laughing:The line for
the meat station was quite long, but we all filled our bellies. Even little Emma packed it in. I don't think I've ever seen her eat so much. I guess the pool water made us hungry.

With our full bellies, we dragged ourselves back over to AK for EMH. I took the younger ones to Dinoland, and they played in the boneyard. Jenny met up with me and took them on the Triceratop Spin. The rest of the gang caught up after using up the gazillion Everest FP's and they rode Dinosaur until the park closed.

On our way out we were all still quite energized. We even debated heading over to MK for a bit, but it was closing an hour earlier than the other nights so we wouldn't have much time. As we headed back, I remembered
that I needed to get the Powerball tickets as it was Wednesday night. Plus we needed more coffee creamer. We stopped at the Hess Station, but struck out on both accounts. No lottery, no creamer. We stopped at the OKW General Store to check on creamer, but no luck there either. We did
run into Keith & Tracy though and poor Keith sounded sick! We invited them to the room, but they passed as Keith wanted to get some rest to get rid of his ailment.

Back at the room, Nate said he was going to drive to a convenient store off property to get a PB ticket. On his way out, I had him drop me off at Downtown Disney so I could do a little shopping. Jenny was gracious enough to watch my kiddos while we were gone. I did my shopping at World of
Disney just to get my AP discount. I spent my $50 (and then some) and was able to buy a Disney tote & a Mickey/Minnie throw. I made my way to the bus stop as I planned on bussing back to OKW. POR and OKW share a bus stop and I was shocked at the amount of people waiting there. I think 3 POR
buses came before the OKW one. But I got my shopping fix and I was a happy camper. It was one of the best days of the trip!:wizard::thumbsup2

Back to your turn Jenny!:flower3:

i think you can get the spray at most pet supply stores. here we have petsmart but i'm not sure what you have there.

i crate trained sherman and eli. they stayed in their crates while we were gone and as soon as i got home i let them outside because most dogs won't pee in their crates and are ready to go when you let them out. (they stay out of their crates when we're gone now because they are big boys and i don't have to worry about it any more.) also, if the dog sleeps with you or one of the kids at night be sure to put him/her outside as soon as he/she wakes up. dogs are just like us - the first thing they want to in the morning is pee! also a rolled up newspaper will do way more than any other discipline method because the noise scares them instead of actual pain. good luck! keep us updated on how it's going.
