He did take Bill with him. It's going to be an adventure for sure! He's in a big carry on piece of luggage marked "Stupid". We thought that would confuse the security people and Rick could just say, "Oh, I'm just bringing a big ol' bag of stupid with me to Florida!"

I wish I could have gone, but school comes first. And, I called him from our 40 degree backyard, the wind whipping me about (I'm such a wisp of a thing, really...haha) a slight drizzle falling from the sky. Bill was running around in circles chasing squirrels and I looked up at the gray, cold sky as Rick, in flip flops, was making his way to the International Gateway to go enjoy Epcot.

I think I'll order myself a whole pizza tonight. LOL.

Actually, as I was looking at the menus, I decided upon Chinese instead. I got General Tso's and shrimp toast. I didn't finish it all, but I have rice and broccoli for tomorrow. Whenever there's a big container of General Tso's I just push the broccoli aside. Awful, I know, but it just doesn't compare to deep fried pieces of chicken! (what does??). But I'll eat the veggie tomorrow. I swear I will!!!

I'm sure it's just as good as the kind you get at UK or Cooke's at Pleasure Island. I'm sure it tastes just as amazing. The only things I can ever remember my father ever making me to eat was 1) a sandwich or 2) scrambled eggs. That's it. I don't think he ever prepared any other meal for me. But, in retrospect, that's not at all terribly surprising. So Fish & Chips is awesome!

i normally do not do "quick fix" meals, but since i was up at 3 am today and jules is off work and home in 30 mins....

I am most definitely not the cook in this house. Rick is extraordinary in the kitchen. Absolutely amazing. He can just rummage in the cabinets and the pantry and throw a dinner together that you would swear came from a restaurant.

When I try, and put my mind to it, I can cook. But I always make a mess and I have to read all the directions on the recipes or the packages, etc. I don't have the cook's eye or hands or smarts. Though I can keep a plant alive!! That's something domestic!!
