OMG OMG OMG!!!!! You met Jordan! I was soo sad when he died. I LOVE his books the most. I have all the WOT books on paperback and most of them in hard cover. Reading the last book is going to be a very sad event simply because I know there will be no more of Jordan's wonderful writing style. He makes you SEE the charactors and the places so vividly from his discriptions. He truely was a wonderful author. I read his blog from time to time and he did seem to be a nice as he was talented.

He was a nice man. When I met him, he had already been suffering a bit from this disease and he was a much thinner man than he had been over the years, but he came in and sat down and made sure he asked everyone's name before he signed their books and had a short conversation with everyone in the room. I used to draw up his contracts, (the contents of which I will not reveal) and it was just nice to finally meet him. I know that people who read Jordan just adore the books. I'm glad you liked them.

I guess for you, the last one will be like Harry Potter 7 was for me!

Yes. A couple of times. I used to work in publishing so it wasn't so unusual to actually meet authors now and again. I worked for his literary agent for a while and worked for his publisher at one time too.

No, I left school an hour early to go get Root Canal, Part II. And I managed to get everything done today that I needed to get done before leaving. The leaving early can never be a reason to be depressed.
