Reintroduction!!

Well let's see some of my favorite authors are:
Stephen King
Dean Koontz
Robert Jordan
Anne Rice

Just to name a few. I like Horror, Thrillers, Fantasy, any kind of detective novel (my weekness!) I also like classics and anything that is set in the 16th to 19th centuries. I was born in the wrong era! I'm pretty diverse I will read anything just about. It's one of my very favorite passtimes. I'd rather read than breathe.

Funny. I've met three of the four authors you've written above. I was very lucky to meet Jordan of course, as he just died recently. I used to work for the publisher that published his Wheel of Time books. He was very nice and signed books for everyone.

When the last book does come out, I'll see if I can get it for you.

OMG OMG OMG!!!!! You met Jordan! I was soo sad when he died. I LOVE his books the most. I have all the WOT books on paperback and most of them in hard cover. Reading the last book is going to be a very sad event simply because I know there will be no more of Jordan's wonderful writing style. He makes you SEE the charactors and the places so vividly from his discriptions. He truely was a wonderful author. I read his blog from time to time and he did seem to be a nice as he was talented.

Well at least ya'll have a country station or two to listen to. Up here in NYC, there are NO country stations. None whatsover. When I visit my friends down the shore, I listen to Cat Country, go to Wawa and feel like a redneck.

Sad because NYC is the number 1 radio market.

Did you know that Los Angeles doesn't have a country station either?

They used to have a GREAT one - KZLA which by default was the number 1 country radio station in the US (even though they are the number 2 market) because NY didn't have one but they went kaput about 2 years ago now. :(
Sigh.........

going to bed now.

niteynite.

Nite, Joe! - WHOO HOOOOOOO page 23!

No no no!! Eat the cookies THEN send the, uh, *results of digestion* to the Frogman. That'll teach him to be selfish :rotfl:

By the way, Snowy, your countdown frightens me. I didn't really think about Christmas being that close, but your countdown made me think of it.

We were in CVS this weekend and they had Halloween stuff on one shelf (ready to be labeled 50% off, I'm sure), but just one shelving unit. On three shelving units they had Christmas stuff. Then off the the side, they had this ridiculous looking cornucopia thing for Thanksgiving. Just one thing for Thanksgiving, a tiny section for Halloween and TONS of Christmas stuff.

Very upsetting.

I feel like Sally Brown sometimes. "Thanksgiving already? I haven't even finished all of my Halloween candy yet!"

Please, they've had the Christmas stuff up at Target for weeks now and the Halloween stuff was already on clearance yesterday. :sad2: All the candy was gone from the shelves though.

Rick says he has no idea what you're talking about and he doesn't know who Nick is. And he says Scott Baio is gay. That's why he's still single at 45.

Rick likes to live dangerously doesn't he? She's gonna get him for that one, either that or she's gonna bring Andy out to rumble. :rolleyes1

Those are two of my favorites too, Stephen King being #1.

Listen Boxer Boy you leave Joe's thread alone!

Would one of those be Stephen King?

Good Morning Joe....oh, tell Rick hi too...;)

Are we creating a Joe fan club? I wanna be a member too :)

Jess, it is his poem. I taught him last year to some of my students when we did poetry in April. Most kids, no matter how old love Shel Silverstein. Did you know, just as a bit of trivia, that he also wrote the song "A Boy Named Sue" by Johnny Cash.

I did not know!

I am smakeldorfed!!
