If you're wondering what I'm doing on the computer, it's because I left school because I wasn't feeling well at all. So I come home, get on the couch and cover myself with a blanket. I'm hoping to fall asleep for a little while. Meanwhile (and unbeknownst to me) my landlord is having the roof replaced today. HAMMERHAMMERMHAMMER. SCRAPE-SCRAPE-SCRAPE. My back yard looks like the LaBrea Tar Pits. Can't even let the little boy go out back and run around because of all the shingles.

Hammer-hammer-hammer. Scrape-scrape-scrape. I have body aches and chills and nauseau. hammer-hammer-hammer. Scrape-scrape-scrape. All the while the two men doing the work are shouting to each other in Chinese and I can't even eavesdrop. hammerHAMMERhammer.

Should have stayed at school.

Oh, that's so sweet. Thank you. I have to feel better today. Schoolwide testing tomorrow. All the kids are taking a state exam during periods 1-3. I have to be there. So the soup is perfect.
