I didn't know you guys had a son. (Or am I misunderstanding your username?) Well, if ya do, congratulations (hope he's not already 10 years old or something or that would seem weird to be congratulating you, lol)!!!

Our "son" has four legs, covered in black hair (with a touch of white at the neck and paws) and whiskers and eats kibble. Don't call Child protective services, please, he's supposed to be that way. Bill is our little boy, and he's almost 13 and still can't read, but he loves Beggin Strips and knows the word "cookie". We're very proud.

LOL, I realized after I posted that it might be a pet. DUH to me! And congratulations anyway!

Hi Paige. Do you have tenure? I don't. Do I dare take a weeks' vacation? Yes, I'm entitled. Yes, I have the days. Do I dare to just take a week off now? My tenure date is December 15, 2008, so they don't have to give me the invite back at the end of the school year if they don't want to. (I know they will! I volunteer for EVERYTHING!) All my observations have been great, but I just don't think it's wise to jet set yet. I'll wait until I have tenure and save the traveling for time when school is closed.

Lucky you, though. Have a great time this weekend. I hope you enjoy yourself.

JOE! I think the best way to start back here would be a great Rick story--the kind that he would never tell us himself!!

Ah, who am I kidding, the man told us about walking the dog in his underwear, there is probably not many stories you have that he won't tell us anyway! (but if there are, by all means, share!)

We are so disappointed you won't be able to join us at WDW but promise to look after him! Sometimes time on the couch in your undies with a bag of PB Cups and your 4-legged baby and no one to yell at you is as good for the soul as a vacation!

Hey Froggy, you may continue to flirt with Rick if you like. LOL. I'm sure he loves it. Yes, this is really me and I'm not checking up on Rick I just thought that he's met so many great people on here and all I do with the computer is check my email and play Scrabble that I wanted something else to do, so I signed back on.
Speaking of Willie, my brother and I went to FarmAid this year. It was here in NYC and it was a great day with lots of great music, but by the time Willie came on (last of course) I was exhausted and had to be at work the next morning. He came on and played one song, then he gave the stage to his children to perform the next three songs! Come on!! So I told my brother that I had to go and I couldn't wait any longer. It was almost midnight. My brother stayed and squeezed himself all the way to the front and I left. He said Willie just played a few more songs so I didn't really miss all that much. But FarmAid was pretty cool all said and done.

Hi There!! Nice to see you on here. Yes, it's been a long time, but now that I've relogged on, my goodness, I can see how people can spend an entire day on this thing!

I was supposed to go to a free country concert this weekend at Fort Dix in New Jersey. Clint Black was going to be playing for the troops and my buddy is stationed there, but then the Army sent him suddenly to do some work in Virginia and he didn't get back to NJ until Friday night. So no Clint for me. I've already seen him once at Radio City Music Hall (with Wynonna) but I really like Free Concerts! Oh well.

I'll post more often and try to keep in touch. I hope all is well with you. And in case Rick didn't say so to you guys, thank you both for the birthday call back in August! That was so, so Sweet!!

Rick is the first to admit that he is a control freak. I, however, am a peanut butter cup freak, and if he wants to keep his fingers, then he better let go quickly when I'm coming in for the bite!

Why, just last night, as I popped one in my mouth he said to me, "Can't you eat that in more than one bite?" to which I responded, "Aren't they already bite sized?"
