Reincarnated WWII fighter pilot?

Did anybody see this? It was on Good Morning America yesterday. Parents believe their son is a reincarnated WWII fighter pilot.

I saw that- when my son was small he used to talk about things that he shouldn't have known anything about- but brother in law laughingly said he was their grandfather reincarnated (he lived 1902-1994 and my son was born in 1997).

If they are telling the truth- it is very strange.

Its a very compelling story. It would be interesting to know how the meeting between the pilot's sister and James went. He looked quite comfortable with her.

I never believed in reincarnation, but this story seems so legit! My DH, who doesn't believe in reincarnation at all, said the boy migh be "psychic" and is the spirit of the pilot is connecting with him, but the boy is too young to understand what's happening. Either way, it's very interesting. I hope there's a follow-up.

I think that the book of the experience is the follow up. The boy doesn't seem to have those memories anymore. I remember when my first child was about 2, he would say what I was thinking about doing; "Let's go to Karen's house". etc. Benign, unimportant things but there were so many, that they didn't seem like coincidences. That seemed to fade before he was 4.

Although, I do believe in reincarnation. Just because there may be reincarnation, doesn't mean there isn't a heaven.

For me anyway, when someone has "written a book" about their experience they lose a lot of creditably. They are just trying to make money at that point.

Kinda like the people who have this great Near Death Experience, see amazing things; peace, love, beauty and all that. What did they do when they got better? Wrote a book and made a ton of money. I dunno, something just tells me that was not the purpose. JMO

I would really be interested in knowing more about this entire story. How did a 2 year old possibly express himself well enough to share these details? And where did they come up with the exact name of the person he used to be?

Apparently they waited years to write the book. I don't think it makes them lose credibility. I'm not sure how I feel about reincarnation, but I won't say it doesn't exist.

Does anyone here remember the story of the woman that knew a lot about a family in Ireland? She had never been there, but knew what the house looked like that she lived in, in a past life.
She knew the childrens names, when they had measles or mumps, etc.
She found the family somehow and went to see them.
I don't think they believed her at first but they said she knew too much about their family. At the end they did believe she was their mother reincarnated.
