Reimbursement For Pre-Paid Dinner Show /on DDP

I booked our reservations at CRT before I booked the dining plan. I had to pay up front. I asked about reimbursement when I added the DDP and was told two different things (2 different CMs) One that I would received my pre-payment on a gift card....the other that I would be reimbursed at WDW.

Has anyone had this issue arise? If so, how was it handled?

We're dealing with the same situation. When I asked, I was told the pre-paid amount could be put toward the cost of adding the DDP. Just wanted to throw that third option in there to confuse us a bit more.

I just did this.

I had paid by CC for CRT.....then added the DDP....they just
credited back my CC.
Took a few weeks.
