I'm only going for about 48 hours and I already have more restaurant ideas than I could do in a week. (From here, and recommendations from some other friends that are Rehoboth regulars.) I have on my list:
Go Fish
Fractured Prune
Royal Treat for b-fast (now I have to go check out Crystal though)
Irish Eyes, recommended by my friend for burgers
Grotto - have to go there
Thrasher's fries
Of course, saltwater taffy must be found somewhere as well.
Also recommended was Bull on the Beach and Ed's Crab Shack. but I haven't committed to those.
Clearly, we are going to be eating a lot!
The other recommendations my friends gave me was to ride the trolley down to Dewey, and also to down to the Indian River inlet where the bay meets the Atlantic (vs. going to Cape Henlopen State Park which was my original plan).
I'm open to any thoughts on any of that - just no more restaurant suggestions! LOL!
And thanks to the OP for starting this, even though I don't think he/she has been back to the thread at all. We are leaving tomorrow for our mini-vacation!
OK. No more food suggestions.
Besides the beautiful beach, of course, you could go to Jungle Jim's Water Park - the kids had a blast.
There is also the ferry to Cape May New Jersey.
Finally, if it is your thing, be sure to check out the outlets.
Have fun!
