Hi I am debating having my wedding at Disney and I was just wondering if I have 36 people and want to have my rehersal dinner on Disney property how much am I looking to spend? Around how much a person is dinner? Thanks

First of all, welcome and happy planning!

It depends on what you are looking for. Our rehearsal dinner was at Artist Point at the WL and it was about $55/person. We had a small group and the Disney Dining Card which helped. Dinner was excellent and the service was really great, they gave DH and I certificate to remember the occasion

Anything "nice" I would budget about $50/person and go up from there if you add drinks and dessert.

I am having mine at the GF Summerhoues.... menus vary but the minimum for food/bev is 1000

It definitely depends on what you want to do...my dream rehearsal event (maybe not dinner) would have been the illuminations party...you can add food or do just desserts. We did 1900 Park Fare and it was $27.99 per person plus alcohol, which only a few chose, and then we had the DDE card too which took off 20%.

Does the DDE card get you discounts of ohana's? Im thinking about booking that as my welcome party as we have a few kids and it looks like a good fun night? (just the normal ohanas though not the luau)

Okay one more question LOL what is the DDE card and where do you get it and how does it work?

The DDE is the Disney Dining Experience card. The cost varies depending on if you are Flroida resident or not, but is available to all who possess a valid WDW AP.

depends on the style & formality you want for your rehearsal dinner, if you want a private venue/room it could be a minimum of $2000 ie at the cali grill after 5pm or you could do public seating in one of the restaurants ie yachtsman steakhouse like $35pp or buffets ie ohanas to save money about $24pp.

were having our rd at whispering canyon cafe, we wanted good food & something fun/casual were planning about $400 for 13 with the dde.

the dde is the disney dining experience its a card available for purchase to florida residents & annual pass holders which saves you 20% at most restaurants at disney.

Once you get your AP vouchers with your contract, and closer to your wedding date (like two weeks before) you can call and order your DDE card. With the AP it is currently $60 and you get two of them. It is totally worth it...I picked ours up on the day before the rehearsal dinner and my fmil was SO thankful!
