Rehearsal Times

For custom weddings, are rehearsals usually held the night before the wedding? Are they ever held during the day or earlier than the day before? Thanks!

Yes our planner said the rehersal will be the day beofre but we do not yet know the time because they can not gaurantee it until 30 days before but I am sure you can request a certain time but the rehersal just may not be at you ceremony location if you are ok with that. For us we didn't mind if it was at the wp or not but it is a prefernce.

You can request what time you want them to have it. For our wedding, we requested to have it before our 5:00 dinner reservations.
Tell your planner what time you would prefer and if they can't do it at the WP, hopefully, they can do it somehwere else.

I mentioned it to the officiant and they said that they do so many disney weddings, they understand the 30 day thing and it's not a big deal. I've seen other brides do theirs a couple of days in advance. We were thinking of doing ours in the afternoon the day before, but flight schedules made dinner time work better anyway. My planner said that we can tell her where we'd like to do it and when, and she'll see what's open.

Right - it depends a.) who you officiant is and b.) who your planner is. We have Jack so he is very familiar with the set-up so to speak. We made ressies for O'Hana for 5pm and have a dp after that so our planner assured us it would be before then but can not garauntee exactly when. Again the season also can have an impact. If it a busy season your planner may have another wedding (and she/he is usually at the rehersal) or the ballrooms or wp may be in use so there are alot of things to consider but like I said if you are having reservations they will work around that for sure they wouldn't make you miss your rd or anything and most officiants are accomadating since the rehersal is usually on an off time.
