Rehearsal dinner question

I swear I think our rehearsal dinner had about 70 people. Like I said, I think it was OVER overkill! We only had about 450 at the wedding. My husband is one of 5 kids and all but one were married, and had kids. Just an "immediate family" get together with us is a minimum of 25 people.

We had our parents, grandparents, bridal party,which included our siblings, and anyone who was part of our ceremony such as our godmothers who were readers.

Crazy huh??? I meant that sarcastically - it was 450 but I too thought it was a bit overkill. My side of the list was a LOT less than 1/2 of that.

Really, I wanted to elope and just have a small party with immediate family and a few friends. The big huge ordeal wasn't my idea.
