Since ADR's are opening up soon for the 180 days, I am trying to get everything finalized.

I'm looking for suggestions for dinner...there will potentially by 12 of us. I don't want anything too big since we will be heading to the dessert party shortly after.

I was thinking of maybe GF Cafe or 'Ohana although DF and I have Ohana planned for the weekend prior.

I love Ohana but I wouldn't go for an all you can eat meal before all those lovely desserts. If you want the Poly i've been hearing great things about the Kona Cafe lately.

Hoop de doo would be fun...although would cost a lot more! Maybe somewhere on the boardwalk? We were originally going to do ESPN since it is really inexpensive and 95% of my guests are hard core sports fans. I think really anywhere relaxed would be fun!

We're doing our dinner at The Wave. DFi is health nut sometimes. So the healthy food options at The Wave he really likes.

A thought would be to eat somewhere where there is monorail access so you can just hop on the monorail and head over to EPCOT.

I have heard very good things about the Wave and it doesn't seem to be too expensive. :thumbsup2

Thanks girls! Those are all good suggestions! I was also thinking of eating over at the Yacht Club..close to EPCOT and steaks :)

Ohhhh, can I suggest a game?? We played a fun game at my son's RDinner this past summer. It's a great way to break the ice & also, lots of folks don't know everyone soooo its' lots of fun. Since we hosted it, I MC'd the game. I had a list of generic questions, 20 of them. I asked the bride & groom to take their napkins and come to the front of the room. They had to stand back to back ( so they couldn't see eachother) I told them, if the answer pertains to them, they had to raise their napkins in the air...you'd think it's simple, but it was VERY entertaining!! Some questions confused them, others they really had to think about it. EVERYONE was laughing and it gave ALL of us, a better insight about the bride & groom!;)

Maybe choose something at one of the Epcot resorts (boardwalk, beach & Yacht clubs, Swan/Dolphin) so that you can take a boat over to Epcot and it will leave you as close to countries as possible, it's a trek from the front where the monorail leaves you to the world showcase.

I thought you were having an Illuminations dinner for your rehearsal? Did plans change?

We found the GF cafe to be simple and easy.

Oh thanks...there will only be 10/12 of us and it's just our parents and best friends :)

Yes, but we will be meeting our group at the front of the park. But I am still thinking Beach/Yacht Club

Our DP is a welcome party...we still planned on a small dinner with just parents and bridal party (1 Moh and 1 BM). I thought about the GF cafe too! Is it good?

We are talking about the Spirit of Aloha dinner show at the Poly due to so many many family conflicts...that way nobody can talk to each other!! hahaha:thumbsup2

I have no idea what type of atmosphere you are looking for, but, if you are looking for a informal, fun, just kind of get together vibe, we have always loved Whispering Canyon Café. Its not a monorail resort, but we have always enjoyed going with friends and the food there is pretty good. Personally - I love the BBQ pork spring rolls - good Jewish girl that I am! :lmao:

Oh that is DF's favorite!!! I will be a little overdressed for that one but we have it on the list for later in the week!

I think GF Cafe or the Wave might be good options.

We're doing something simmilar....We're having a smaller group that is starting at Big River Brewing Co. and then heading over to Epcot to meet everyone and have our Dessert Party.

Nice location with good views and always excellent food & service. Try the Starburst Martinis. Also, some of the best shushi in Orlando. Have a wonderful wedding!!!:cheer2:

Question...if we have our rehearsal dinner (and we book it as a rehearsal dinner) in a park restaurant (ie Le Cellier), will the guests all have to have park passes?
