This is my first post; I am so glad to have found this site.

We are having an afternoon wedding on a Sunday and will be having a rehearsal brunch/luncheon on Saturday around 11:30am. Does anyone have any suggestions for a location? We want this to be casual and not too expensive. I appreciate any suggestions!

I like Whispering Canyon but I dont think Matthew's mom will. A character brunch sounds like a great idea. I will ask my planner about that. Do you have any idea what the cost would be per person for a character brunch?

Have you ever been to spoodles?

Thanks for the reply!

You may also want to check out Fresh at the Dolphin. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet. Lunch used to be a buffet, but it looks like maybe now it's menu, I'm not sure. Their website is http://www.swandolphin.com/fresh/index.htm.

I also think they have a small private room available..

The character breakfasts are around $20 per person. Depending on which one you go to. I think the one at the Beach Club is the cheapest at $19.

I've been to Spoodles for dinner. I liked it, but it was a bit too sophisticated for some people in my group (not enough meat & potatoes for my DF). They had really good Sangria though!

I just looked at their breakfast menu, and if that's the type of menu you're looking for, I'd suggest the Kona Cafe in the Polynesian. Everything there is amazing, especially the Tonga Toast!

hello i am having a rehersal breakfast at 1900 park fare at the floridian! the characters are may poppins and othes from the movie. there is a very wide variety of food and they have fancy and more simple such as cereal mickey waffles etc. let us know what you choose

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I will let you know what I end up doing.

Hi! Do you happen to know how many people can be at the breakfast at 1900 park faire? I am hoping to have a post wedding brunch as well, and would really love to do a character breakfast, but with a group of around 45 people, I'm thinking I'm going to need to go with something more along the lines of a private event, so I was just curious :)

hmmm i booked mine for 24 and it was throght regilar dining. i am sure if you call with enough time they could accomodate? let meknow what happens.

it really is a nice place, i feel like it feels like disnsy if that makes sence.

Not sure of the cost, but several brides have used Citrico's for their farewell breakfasts and have raved about the experience. It has the added benefit of being private since Citrico's is not open for breakfast.

just a thought, how about the attic at the boardwalk? i really really really wanted to have my wedding there, but there are too many people in my guest count already :sad1: so i'm having it at the living seas in epcot...the attic looks fantastic!!!
