Is there anywhere online where i can check the rehab dates?

Not that I know of. Some of the more knowledgable members here will answer this definitively, but the only place I go is the sticky at the top of this board!

Also, I go here a lot too! This will probably tell you when an attraction is closed...the day of, but doesn't have a schedule. http://secure.universalstudios.com/MobileWeb/ParkMenu.aspx

You will need to scroll down to see any closings for the time you're going. They will not post closings far in advance.

Because Disaster is closed and it's not on there. Ripsaw Falls is closed and its not on there. Popeye was closed before that and it wasn't on there. Jurassic Park is closing in two weeks and it's not on there.

Yes. Wait until about a month before your vacation though. If Harry Potter is going to be open then, don't worry about rehabs, everything will be open. You can contact Guest Services through the Universal website.

Hey, so how do you know that Jurassic Park is closing in two weeks? I'm going Feb 13-23 and I didnt know about that refurb!

I called Universal Guest Services and asked about reburbs. The CM I spoke to told me the JP would be going down 2/16, but in the email response I got, the date given was 2/14. It is going down, just not quite sure what day. We get there the 17th. Grrr!

Oh no, so saadd... The week I'm going for the first time ever everything is under refurbishment... I dont understand why during presidents week and mardigras Universal is doing so many refurbs... They'll expecting a lot of people, wont they? so i really dont understand...

Something will always be closed during something and there just happens to be more refurbs being done before Harry Potter opens. I can think of a few things in other parks which could really use some TLC. But think of it as more incentive to come back!

There's nothing more frustrating than inconsistency, is there?

I just got off the phone with Universal (407-224-4223, option 2), and was told that Jurassic Park would be open the week of the 14th. But then I just got a reply to an email I had sent yesterday asking about closures, and here's what *it* said:

"As of this writing, Disaster!SM, Jurassic Park River Adventure®, Fievel’s Waterslide, and FEAR FACTOR LIVE are scheduled to be closed during the timeframe of your visit"

Wish I knew exactly what day JP was going to be closing, but it doesn't seem like everyone has the same information at this point....

What's the deal with Dueling Dragons / Dragon Challenge? Will it close before the new Harry Potter area opens, or should it stay open? We'll be visiting the week of spring break. I doubt we'll see anything of Potterville, but it would be a big disappointment to miss the Dragons too.

Yes this has been asked before,but when they close it to retheme is anyone's guess.I wish US would be more informative on closures.When it includes A major ride like DD,they need too say it!!imo
