I see that Dinosaur is going to be down for rehab while I am there with my son. The rehan is supposed to go through June 2nd which is the day we were originally going to leave. I could maybe extend the trip a day or so in hopes that we could get on Dinosaur, but if it probably won't truly be open, it would be a bit of a headache to try to rearrange our schedule.

Do they usually reopen on time? Maybe even early??? (that would be awesome because then I would not have to go through the hassle of rearranging us.

Normally, I don't care much if a ride is open or not open but my son was too afraid to go on Dinosaur in October and now he talks about it alot and how he can't wait to go on it the next time we go. :)

From my experiences, it is very rare that an attraction will re-open earlier than the scheduled rehab dates. On the other hand, extending the dates is not out of the question either.

Tough call. Personally I'd probably just keep things as-is and hope for the best. If nothing else, you'll have something new to try next time you visit.

Incidentally, how old is your son? Have you ever been on Dinosaur yourself? Personally, I love the ride. But I also think it's one of the most physically abusive rides at WDW. It really bounces and jerks you around. While I won't have to cross this bridge myself for several years, it's probably the last of the restricted rides that my son will ever experience simply because of the physical demands of the attraction.

Good luck.
