Regular ticket prices going up??

If the price increase comes out tonight and you buy today, then you're way ahead of the curve.

If not, those price increases are coming, very soon. The AP increase was the second price increase this year. There's every reason to believe that the are getting this set for Christmas this year.

IF they are setting this up for Christmas this year then there's a very great chance the price increase goes into effect tonight. Disney knows people wait till the last minute to make major purchases and right now is the deadline for ticket purchases in order to take advantage of the 60 day FPs for Christmas.

I really expect the increases tonight.

That's a good point that it could sync up with the FP deadline.

Anyone have the mousesavers newsletter link that you can pm me? I must have accidentally deleted last months

What do the dis people think? Would they do a single ticket increase so close to the AP increase?

Unless someone here is working at Disney and is directly involved in this process- we are all just guessing. You are going to get opinions on this in all different directions. I bought the 2016 Unofficial Guide when it was released- and they mentioned that rumors were afloat about another price increase this year. As soon as I read it, I immediately got my AP- and am glad I did. If I was in the Disney marketing department, I would want these general admission increases to happen as close to the AP increases as possible so that the 'news cycle' regarding increases is done and over with as quickly as possible. If it was me I would get them, but I'm not a gamblin' man.

I don't think you see all of those articles in the mass media about demand pricing without Disney being involved. And I agree, this could be a situation where it's better to just rip the Band-aid off and get any negative press over with. But we shall see I guess.

We just went to AAA this afternoon and purchased our tickets. I do not want to be surprised in the near future with a price increase. We are going in early May.

I expect a price increase close to Thanksgiving. Christmastime at WDW this year will be tiered pricing.

Remember I said this. If I'm wrong, I'll eat my words, but if I'm right I'm coming back to say "I told you so."
This is the same timeframe I've heard for the MYW ticket increase, too.

I would go ahead and buy them now. If they don't go up you needed them anyway. The trouble is that there is no way to predict what they'll do.

If you buy park only tickets can you add them to a package? Will it be the same price or are regular package deals through Disney cheaper?

Just did the math and surprisingly buying the park tickets out right runs us, a party of 5 which are 10 and over and 2 that are 9 and under $10 less than going with a package deal. Going to be buying my tickets tonight just to have peace of mind.

I bought my park hoppers for April or May 2016 this past week. I expect a price increase before then, and possibly even the introduction of tiered pricing.

I know I got some tickets for family I'll be going with just in case.

My warning is that if a lot of people expect tiered pricing that'll encourage them to do so. However I do think Disney need to realize that they do indeed have competition and such a move would drive many to Universal instead
