Regular or Family satae room

A coworker has the choice between a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom and a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom. Can you tell me the difference. I know nothing about Disney Cruises just the parks.

How many people will be in her cabin? The family oceanview is larger.

Family stateroom is longer and can sleep 5 instead of 3-4. The extra bed comes in the form of a pullout chair.

Tell her to also look at the locations on whatever ship she is looking at. Look at the deck plans to see what is above and below her stateroom. Our deluxe family ocean view on the Dream was in the front with a huge porthole and was one of our favorite staterooms we've ever had.

Note the family one has an extra 'box' beside the couch. This is a murphy bed. If these rooms are like their verandah counterparts, there will either be a murphy bed or a chair, but not both.

Also note that the bathrooms are slightly different (I should say "shower rooms"). The Deluxe has a rectangular bathtub and the Family has a circular tub. I personally like the rain head shower in the circular shower but it certainly isn't worth paying more for if it's just my family of 4

Don't think the Magic and Wonder have round tubs....just the Dream and Fantasy
