Regular old Iced Tea?

This may be an odd question, but do you know of any restaurants that dont have regular non-sweetened, non-flavored, iced tea? Lately we have noticed at several restaurants near our home that they only carry sweetened or flavored ice teas. We are an iced tea family and only like it 'regular'. We would not skip a restaurant because of their choice of iced tea 'flavors' but we would like to know ahead of time.

Thank you

I found plain old Ice Tea at everyplace we ate.

:thumbsup2 I have gotten plian ice tea no matter what place I ate in Disney...I like it plain, no sugar, no milk and that what I go. :thumbsup2

I found plain iced tea in many places in WDW.....I always ask though if it is fresh brewed, there is a huge difference if it is not.

So is it fresh brewed in most places? I noticed on some of the menus it says Nestea. I hope that doesn't mean it comes out of a fountain.

Rainforest Cafe had non-flavored sweetened and unsweetened tea. It's freshly brewed. How do I know this? My mom loved her tea so much she asked the server what kind it was, and the server came back with a big ole box of either tea bags or something of that nature to show us, LOL. Even she didn't know what kind it was, but it was good. Main Street Bakery in MK... I'm 99% positive that was freshly brewed. Never have I tasted unsweetened iced tea so strong that I had to add about 10 sugar packets to it, whew! No way that was Nestea or anything out of a bottle. :rotfl: They're the only places we had tea at; sorry I can't help you more.

I do not drink sodas, and either drink tea or water, so this is a subject I know a LOT about (so much so that the tag fairy came to visit me a long time about about the subject!!)

Disney has definitely improved on this over the last several years. Most places have fresh brewed iced tea (unsweetened and unflavored) Some of the counter service locations have the instant fountain tea, so be sure to ask if it is brewed or fountain.

There are only a couple of places that have brewed sweet tea at WDW (Liberty Tree Tavern, Trails End Buffet)

Wolfgang Pucks has flavored tea (Mango I believe) and it is brewed as well.

OT: Technically, "regular" (Iced) Tea is pre-sweetened. It's just us health nuts who want un-sweetened Iced Tea.
