Which do you prefer?
This is just for myself and my husband for our 20th Anniversary trip, and we will be there during Food & Wine. I'm a huge foodie, he isn't as adventurous but enjoys good food.
The difference between the two packages is $180 give or take. This is if the dining plan comes back of course.

Assume the same old plans return,
personally i alway want the deluxe.
i dont enjoy counter service meals, unless it is 2 am in the magic kingdom then i want to goto pacos Bill…
i do enjoy signature dinning, dinner shows, etc and those are two points.
for food and wine, having the extra snack credits was amazing since most of the food samples are on the dinning plan.

personall i have always felt like i and my family get a good value out of a dinning plan, but you have to want to use it.

We always got the deluxe dining plan in the past but we prefer TS in general.

Good chance we won’t do it anymore since we decided that CL should be a part of our next trip and CL plus DDxDR is not worth the money spent. Never been to WDW during the Food and Wine Festival but based on the offerings of other festivals I doubt there is much value for us, and we’ll probably continue to miss it.

just wondering what CL is

There's no good reason to have a dining plan during Food & Wine, in my opinion. How may table-service meals do you plan to eat?
Agree. Especially if they bring back the food and wine pairing noon events. We will graze for lunch and might do a TS in the evening.
I can't imagine we would ever use all of the food credits during F&W as we would never be that hungry after grazing through the food kiosks.

We always had the regular dining plan and liked using the snack credits at Food & Wine during the day and having a TS meal for dinner. I found that most of the portions at F&W are fairly small (other than a few notable exceptions) so never got super full.

We have always got the qs meal plan. We have our favorites but in Dec we will get the reg dining plan if it is back by then to mix in some ts meals in the evenings.

We will be there for F&G and as long as the plans are back by Spring, we fully plan on doing the regular dining plan mainly for the festival. We have 2 days of Epcot planned and 5 days of the other parks. Our Epcot days we plan to mainly eat at the booths with our snack credits. If we're still hungry, we'll grab something quick service (plus the kids will want to eat a qs meal instead of booth food). The other credits will be used on our other park days for character meal breakfasts and then if we want an extra sit down meal a couple days, we'll have those credits available from our Epcot days. It makes total sense for us to go this route.
