Regular Coronado pool view or preferred room at pop

2 nights in a regular room at Pop for $112 or preferred room for $120, OR water view at Coronado springs for $182, preferred room is $200 but not worth it for 2 nights? (Decided to save up for a deluxe on a future trip). But having trouble deciding if the extra $$$ is worth trying out a moderate
resort. My main goal is less crowded bus lines/less chaotic resort but I also use a refillable mug so I really prefer to be close to the main building too...) I've stayed at Pop before! But never tried a moderate resort. I'll be coming from a 4 night stay at all Star sports with a friend but she heads home and I'm staying 2 more nights. Also, does Coronado have mug refills at the pools? I heard they do. I always get a refillable mug so being close to a station where I could conveniently fill up in the morning and night is something I want.

I have stayed at Coranado for a conference and was very, very happy. To me it would be worth the extra expense for a larger room!

Coranado bus service was great! It is a larger resort, but I had no trouble walking around. Our bus stop was right outside our building.

The main pool does have a refillable mug station.

We did not enjoy the Coronado. It is so spread out and has such little shade that we didn't want to leave the room. Pop on the other hand has been my favorite value resort. Great food court, cool location and low price. Hard to compare to Coronado.

I love Coronado and would definitely recommend it!

Water view at CSR can be the lake facing side of the building, overlooking one of the pool areas, or even just facing fountains. I would opt for either a standard view room, or if you want to be in buildings 1, 2, or 3 closer to the main El Centro building just book a preferred room. Really no need for a water view, and some of those don't have a great view of any water.

That said, we love CSR and have stayed here many times.
