"Regular" avatars?

There used to be the option of using one of the pre-designed characters or regular pictures as your avatar. Now it appears that your avatar must be something custom that you upload (or download?) I always used the regular one, because I don't know any other way. Would I go to Photobucket. Or would I get a picture from my iPhoto? Not sure.

Yes I would also like to know this answer, I'm assuming it is because I'm using my phone?? Also I can't seem to find the search option! I had it then lost it lol

Yes. You should be able to upload a photo from your phone or computer. The selection of avatars we had did not move over, but I'll try to put them all on a page to download if you want what you had before.
