Registry Fun!

I think I have way too much fun on my registry. I'm on it most of the day at work and I get so excited when someone buys something anything from it.

I just had a cousin buy me all of my bedding! Down comforter, duvet cover, sheets, bedskirt, pillow cases! All from one person! I can't wait for it to come. Hopefully early next week. mmm can't wait to go to sleep w/ all that plushy goodness

Yay! That's so exciting! I can't wait to register--oh in about 6 months or so! Ugh! I have been "browsing" though! Its so exciting, even though DF and I have lived in our homes for almost 7 years and have a lot of stuff already!

I had a lot of fun registering. They gave me a little price gun and I went to town. I am kinda bummed because my computer errors every time I try to bring up one registry, and the other one, no one has bought anything from so no cause to get overly excited yet...But I do know when it starts happening I am going to be checking it like every hour.

How do we 'advertise' our registries?

The classy way to do it is to tell your parents and maybe your maid of honor where you're registered and then let guests ask them for the info. The tacky way to do it is to print it on your invitations

There was an area on my wedding website for it. My mom put the address for our website on my shower invitations - actually she put it in a super cute poem (she's a teacher what can I say)

Since Rachel and Bob
Live so far away
Don't bring your gifts
On their shower day
Send them down South
To their Charlotte abode
They'll be so thrilled
Not to carry the load
Log onto their website
See their registry there
As well as their photos
For all friends to share

My mom is too adorable.

The invitations went out earlier this week, the shower is August 11th so i'm just starting to see people buying from it.

I did not have a shower, or a reception and there were no guests at my wedding, so I knew the registries were kind of a joke for me.

But I had a heck of a time putting stuff on them!!!

I got a few things from one of them for Christmas!
