Registration is now open for the special Annual Passholder Early Entry events.

The events will take place 06/18/12 through 9/13/12 and will allow Passholders entry into the Parks one hour early on selected days.

The events will typically take place at Disneyland Park on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and Disney California Adventure on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Passholders will need to register for the event at least 3 days in advance and can only register for one event at each Park.

Thanks for posting! Just got signed up for June 18th! Now I just hope I can get us all out of bed early enough to get there. We live about 20 minutes away and have only been there at opening once several years ago!

We'll be doing the grand tour of Southern California June 5-21. We'll use the first two days of our 3-day hoppers on the 5th and 6th, but we need to use the 3rd later in the trip to see Cars Land, ride Matterhorn, etc.

I was thinking of using it on the Tuesday the 19th, the last day it'll be valid. If a pile of AP holders is going to have a head start toward exactly where we want to go, though, maybe I should go with Monday the 18th. I think Mondays are normally worse than Tuesdays, but both are SCS blockout dates.

The other benefit to going Monday is that we could still add a day and go back on the 19th if we don't finish the job on the 18th.

Can someone confirm that there is or is not AP early entry at DCA on 6/19?

Thanks!

I just bought our AP's for our trip in July. We are staying at the DLH and was planning on doing EE pretty much every morning. Now I'm wondering if we might get a smaller crowd if we "swap parks" and do an AP holder EE instead of a resort guest/general public early entry. :confused3 So I guess I just have to decide which 2 days to use it and sign up...can you sign up before you AP is activated?

Thanks Tom! I've been checking every morning (can't believe I didn't check again yesterday afternoon :headache:) and thankfully our trip dates are still available. I was worried it would fill up quickly, especially since our CA date falls on a rare day in June when most of the AP's aren't blocked out.

This might be a silly question, but my wife and I will be going to DLR in July and meeting our son, who lives in SoCal.

All three of us will be staying at VGC for 3 nights.

My son has an AP; my wife and I have bought Parkhoppers.

My question is: can my son, staying in VGC, still get in early with us even though he only has an AP and not a daily ticket if he doesn't register for this special entry?

Or, is this offer different from the normal early hour on certain days for DLR hotel guests, so he could get in (if he registered) and we couldn't?

There are two different things going on. The DCA early entry for APs will be on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays. You must have an AP and pre-register to attend and you can only go once between June 18 and Sept. 13. Your son as an AP holder could go to one of these, but you and your wife could not. However, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, there will be DCA early entry for parkgoers who are staying onsite, so since you are all 3 staying at VGC you can go in those days with your AP/parkhoppers and your hotel room keys. Same kind of thing is going on at Disneyland. The early entry days for Disneyland are Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and as VGC guests, you should be able to go for those early entry days. AP holders for the first time will be allowed one early entry on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday between June 18 and Sept. 13.

Anyone know how many they are letting in per day? Just wanted to know how crowded DCA will be on the 21st when we plan on going at park entry.

Thanks a lot.

From what I can tell no, which is a bummer, I'd like to sign DD and I up but can't. :( We will activate our AP on 7-7 so we may try to sign up for the 10th or 11th.

DH and I are right there with you - can't register for a day until passes are activated on the 14th - so we are going to try to register for the 18th ( if there is any room by then..LOL) or maybe the 19th if available. Just a slight bummer.
