Registering my kid (5K)

Long story short. DH will be doing the half or the full in 1/18. My youngest and I are also runners but she'll only be 11 and the longer races will be too much for her. I'm thinking of giving her the option of the 5K but she would need to run with me because of the size of the race and her age, not that she hasn't run a race before.

When registration opens (April?) am I able to register her and I at the same time or do I have to have fast fingers or two computers hitting the site at the same time?

Just wondering what this is like...
