registering kids club

I was looking over a sample navigator for the kids club (thanks to a dis member!) and I noticed that the first day is a registration day. Couple of questions for you seasoned family cruisers. Do kids register for specific time slot activities or just in general? We're not sure how much DD3 will want to participate. Also, is this a case like massages and Palo reservations were you have to be there early? Do they turn kids away due to limited space? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated! We want to make sure we have all our ducks in a row so DD has the best possible time. Thanks!

You just do a general registration for the kids and you can then check them in and out as you please for various programs. Be sure to note on the Navigator when the kids are in transition and cannot be checked in and out of the programming.

EVERY child is guaranteed a space in the programming. DCL limits the number of children onboard to guarantee this. I do recommend going early in the afternoon to sign up, just to avoid crowds, but you don't need to worry about space. Your child will have a space in the programming.

You want to check your child in when you arrive on the ship so you can get your pager.

do it in order of importance to your family though:

Palos shuffle
Spa ressie shuffle
Oceaneer Lab - (kids are guaranteed spots)

Hopefully DH can get DS signed up in the lab while Im running to Palos and the spa

I ran to Palo's to make my ressie for dinner, brunch and tea. Found out I lost my cards along the way. Had to stop at guest service to get my cards(someone had already turned them in ) and I then went to the kid's club with no waiting. I had someone else run to the spa for ressies there and he was the first one there.
