During Christmas my parents were kind enough to give my brother, sister-in-law, daughter, and I plane tickets to Disneyland. We decided that we would take advantage of the GAD promotion to not only help out in our community but to defer the cost of the park tickets. My daughter is too young to participate but I have already participated and made arrangments to continue to participate with the organization. A few weeks ago, my brother and sister-in-law had a house fire and are now spending their days trying to rebuild their house and their lives. They are still planning to attend the trip, which is several months away, since the major things (plane tickets and hotel) have been paid but they are not going to be able to participate in the GAD. They registed with the web site but not with a specific organization. Do they need to un-register with the web site? I know that there is a million person goal and I don't want someone to miss out but due to their circumstances they have other things to deal with right now. Thanks for your help and if possible, please keep them in your prayers. They could use it right now.

Sending hope and hugs to your brother and sister-in-law. I hope everything works out for them. What a horrible thing to have happen.

My understanding is that Disney is looking at the million people based on actually signing up for an activity, so if they're just registered without being signed up for a specific event or activity, that shouldn't hurt anyone else's chances of getting a shot at a voucher.
