1. Yes.
2. Pick one and make your reservation.
(If the "other" park is not yet full when you arrive at WDW and would rather go to that "other" park,
you can change your reservation at that time.)

Yes, park reservations are still required. That is considered by Disney to be a "permanent" change from pre-Covid procedure. (That means that it'll last until they decide to change it again.) If you're going at a busy time of year, decide on a park and book a reservation to it. Flip a coin if you have to. If you change your mind later, you can change your reservation, subject to availability at the park you want to switch to.

You do NEED tickets to make the park reservation(s.)

The simple answer is to make the reservation now (or when you're ready, after buying tickets) and then, if Disney drops the need for reservations... nothing to worry about.
If (in the future) no reservations are needed... you'll not be held to those you booked.
But, if you DO need them... you'll HAVE them.

Ok so that means i need to cash in my disney CC to get my tickets lol i was holding off as long as i could but now i get to spend some more lol! we are 90 % sure of what we are doing just didnt know.

side note any good videos or info on Genie + stuff. i watched one and was super confused lol like most prob.

The announcement that Disney put out about Genie and Genie+ was vague. Since the system hasn't been put into operation yet, the only people who really know how it is supposed to actually work are Disney employees and they're not telling us . . . at least not yet.

Also, just to be extra confusing, they call the park reservation “Park Pass,” so it sounds like they mean your tickets. But tickets are still called tickets. Just a heads up!
