ok Tuesday here...no tickets yet...fingers crossed...hopefully by friday..

Nothing here either. But, from past experience, they tended to send out the tix closer to the actual show dates. Maybe they think we'll lose them :earboy2:

Did you see that the Disneyland tickets are all gone now?

I don't think I stand a chance for tix considering I just sent in my request, and by regular mail! LOL But hey, you just never know... ;)

Wow! Although, to be honest, that doesn't surprise me. Imagine all the "locals" that were able to put their requests in the mail the same day as the announcement.

If I get tickets, I'll be thrilled. But, if I don't, it won't stop me from going. You can often see quite a lot from the sidelines :goodvibes

If I get the tickets, I'll have an extra one since my friend will be out of town and unable to attend. I'm not holding my breath though, since I did send it regular mail :rolleyes1

Figured that would happen as they are locals...But disney world...even if you are a local the request had to go across the country... so you might still have a chance liz

Exactly what I was thinking. And, other than Zurgswife here (giggle) I think many of us sent our requests by regular mail :goodvibes

Ok, let's see. For the Regis + Kathie Lee "Mother's Day Special" (in 1999 was it?) we got our tickets about 7 days ahead of time. In a later year, when we were there for a week full of broadcasting (they spread the shows out over 4 days) we were told to pick the tickets up at the actual MGM ticket window.

Made my day to hear the comments about USPS priority mail. Of course, I thought I was so smart and sent my requests priority mail. We will be leaving for WDW on Sat 5-7-05, so I hope I hear something by then!

As long as I hear or don't hear 7 days in advance that would be fine I can still cancel the room without penalty.. :cool1:

One thing I've learned about going to LIVE shows is that they never seem to do something twice the same way.

As for USPS Priority.. well, you ladies might just have a leg up on the rest of us.

I got tickets when Regis taped Millionaire in 12/2001. The envelopes were also sent out to CA and I was surprised how fast they came back. Hopefully by next week!

DW and I were at the Live With Regis and Kelly Show in Dec., 2001 at MGM in WDW. We bought the package so were guaranteed tickets. People we ran into at the resort didn't know anything about the show until we told them. I saw some of them at the show and talked to them about the ticket situation and they said several people didn't show up and they were let in the day of the show. If you are at the MK without tickets you might see about filling in for no-shows.

I totally concur with this. One of the LIVE shows we were at was deluged by terrible wind and rain. They even had to air more commercials than usual during one segment so that the electricians could climb the light towers (to do some adjusting). Show staff members passed out black umbrellas to us (which SOME people took home with them! :sad2: )

Anyway, I digress. Because of the storm, many people with tickets decided not to brave the elements and avoided the show. The staff gathered people from the surrounding park area to fill in the empty seats.

We need to "post" on here as any of us receive the tickets, OK? :wizard:

liznboys: *If* I get my 2 tickets, you may have one; I'm staying @ POFQ too!

Yes!! Please do!! I hope all of us has *GOOD* luck!!!

I guess we're on *daily mail watch* at this point! Nothing in my mail today. Anyone else?

BTW, I had my TA extend my stay by a day and she couldn't get me the AP rate for my last night at POFQ (Friday), so I changed my ressie to POR. I've never stayed there so it'll be a new experience for me! :flower:
