Regional terminals - Atlanta

So, I'm flying Delta from Omaha, NE. The flight is "operated by" a regional carrier (Atlantic Southwest). Anybody know which terminal a regional carrier is likely to use? Or which terminal a flight to MCO would leave from?

I ask because we've got just 40 minutes between flights. We are not traveling with small children (kids are 12 and 15 and can no doubt outrun me) and do not have mobility issues. Still, it seems awfully tight, especially if the regional airlines have to part in, like, another state and bus in to the big terminals.

(Delta keeps changing the Omaha departure time; I've changed the itinerary once already because of it.)

OH DEAR!

I hate to say this, but ASA stands for "American's Sorriest Airline" Now the good news... just about ALL of their flights go out of C (I think it's C, but it's all one terminal) The bad news. They have a HORRID on time record, so don't panic when you are late, your departure will be too. Their gate areas are amoung the most DISORGANIZED I have ever seen and their staff is just either RUDE or CLUELESS (or both)

I really despise them but sometimes HAVE to fly them.

Oh dear, indeed. The carrier form Omaha to Atlanta is operated by ASA, but I believe Atlanta to MCO is plain old Delta. At least if ASA is in C, it's in the middle.

I live in Atlanta and fly in/out of there pretty regularly. 40 minutes is more than enough time to make that connection. The underground trains come by every few minutes and are pretty quick. I wouldn't worry too much about it. (Now if the flight arrives late, that is a different story..)

Almost verytime I have flown Delta from Omaha to Orlando, it has been on ASA which goes through Atlanta. I have always had to change terminals (use the underground train). 40 minutes should be plenty of time, however I don't think I have ever had a flight either arrive or depart on time on Delta.. so your luck might widely vary.

After my last experience on Delta from Omaha to Orlando in February 2007, I vowed to never fly that way again.

The only "good" experience I have had on Delta from Omaha to Orlando has been if all of the flights go through Cincinnati instead of Atlanta (these use ComAir). Take "good" with a grain of salt though. :)
