I am sorry that I haven't posted sooner. My package arrived at my husband's office -- I use that address for most packages because if I ship things to my home they sit on my porch if I'm not here and they will get soaked if it rains. Since I knew this would be a cookbook I didn't want it to get wet. Unfortunatly, it arrived when my husband wasn't in and the guy who went through the mail put it in their supply room. My husband didn't know it was there and didn't find it until I asked him if something arrived for me.

I got a really nice Community Cookbook from the First United Methodist Church in Texas. It was from Susan. It came with a "Fixin to Read it" bookmark and a magnet. The magnet is currently holding up some of my tried and true recipes and the bookmark is holding a page with the recipe "Smothered Chicken with Barley."

Thanks Susan -- the cookbook looks really nice. I'm hoping to try out a recipe in it this weekend when we have our neighbors over for a cookout.

My package was mailed a few days ago. I hope it reaches it destination safely.

Nice to finally hear from you Beth......but since I had not heard anything and your PMs were NOT picked up, an elf package was sent out to your person.
Guess she gets a bonus one.

Reminder!! VERY important to check in with these things! We organizers do keep track and do call in elves (at the extra expense to them) to gets things done in a timely (as we can) manner.

Beth, I've glad that it arrived. I was beginning to get concerned that maybe it had been delivered to the wrong address or someone had stolen it off of your porch/mailbox.

Hope you enjoy the cookbook. I want to get one like it also.

Just got home and saw a package on my doorstep!!!

Thank you Nancy!!!! I love the book... I never realized how different styles of cooking would be. There are some very interesting recipes in there that I wouldn't have heard of (I think) unless I got it!!! And thanks for the towels & potholders. I swear I am always in need of those! Thank you again and just so sorry you had to elf it... much appreciated!!!
